The Environmental Protection Agency is seeking non-profit organizations to conduct research to improve understanding of the effects of climate change on indoor air quality and the resulting health effects.
The total funding for the grants, announced on Oct. 25, is $4.5 million and applicants have until Jan. 23, 2014 to submit proposals.

Windows open or closed?
Another 5 million pissed away.
I think a dissertation on that portion of the grant would be worth about $100K. (I’m guessin’ you were talking about actual windows and not our computer operating systems. Well for a lot of us anyway.)
I have a much greater effect on indoor air after a plate of beans that climate change does.
This seems to contradict all the energy-efficient building codes. It must have to do with air exchange.
My 100-year-old house has too much air exchange. Modern buildings have too little, hence: sick building syndrome. Got a Green House? You will be targeted.
This is also going to give them increased control over the materials used in every bit of interior furnishing, paint, varnish, flooring. Heating and cooling systems already approved will need retrofitting after an expensive inspection.
More expense for less positive productions. More revenue for the tyrants. More control over everyone.
Can we get to the collapse already? We'd save money.
money seeking a place to land..............................
LOL Love my Win 8.1
Could I get a $4.5 million grant for describing how my thumb seems to be dissimilar from my finger?
Time for the government to stop wasting money on a hoax!
I would say that it is money down the toilet — but the gimmicked results will probably be used to justify new government intrusions into our daily lives.
*Another 5 million pissed away.*
Think of the children in third world countries that would like a few ounces of food or a cup of clean water, but the government is wasting our money on grants connected with an obvious, debunked scam
Just as long as it’s one of those new water saver toilets. LOL! You know, the kind that sometimes takes 3 flushes to do the job.
