Its that time of the year again folks, when two lucky turkeys come to Washington, spend time at a swanky hotel, get some facetime with President Obama at the White House, before spending the rest of their days at a historic Virginia farm.
But those days are always short.
Gobbler and Cobblerlast years set of turkeys who attended the annual Presidential Turkey Pardonhave both died, Whispers has learned. Gobbler, Cobblers understudy, died in February.
Cobbler, 2012s official pardoned turkey, lived through the summer and was euthanized on Aug. 22.

Bush’s fault!
“I’m really good at killing turkeys.”
Turkeys grow fast, and leave a tasty corpse.
They just don’t live long, no matter what. I myself wouldn’t demean the pardon by extending it to a turkey, but rather would direct the white house kitchen to properly execute the bird and then prepare the very tasty corpse for proper disposal. (Yum!)
All but one...Ocare
If you like your head... you can keep your head!
President Nessman
Many Americans are doomed just as those turkey birds.

Euthanized? Is that a new term for processing into meat? I’ve euthanized many a hog and chicken, and others have euthanized cattle which ended up in the freezer.
0bamacare Death Panels at work?
Euthanized due to old age. Obirdacare.
The interwebs tell me the lifespan of these things is 10 years... so I’m guessing they are only sending the old geezer turkeys in to get pardoned. Otherwise, why would they need to get euthanized so soon?
These birds probably had zero chance of ending up on the dinner table in the first place.
Turkey Death Panels.
Commercial birds are breed and maybe genetically modified for maximum and fast growth. They just keep growing until their little hearts can’t keep up. We picked up a few chicken truck escapees and they live a bout a year and die when they’re about the size of a medium turkey.
If enough people died so that I suddenly became President, I would insist on a longer-lived variety of turkey. Maybe a heritage bird or a wild turkey might live a few more years.
I thought this would be another Obamacare article.
LOL!!!
