Arctic mystery fish identified

Nigel Hussey, a researcher who works with the Ocean Tracking Network, says the fish some speculated was a goblin shark is actually the mysterious "long-nosed chimaera" mysterious because they're rarely caught.

It must walk along the sea bottom on those limb-like fins, grazing with the undershot mouth.
But what does it do with that nose? Traffic cone, dunce cap...stir up the mud and suck in the little critters?

All in the eye of the beholder. For all we know, this creature could be considered a hottie by opposite sex members of the species. A real catch, so to speak.I'd hit it.
