The Cuban assassin with a deadly secret: 'I shot JFK’

And now, he has a name, of a man who fits the bill as Kennedys killer, who is said to have confessed his involvement in the assassination before being killed in a commando-style raid on Cuba.
I have tried to write a book for the sane citizen that is open both to the lone assassin theory and something more complex, says Summers. The evidence that Oswald fired is pretty strong but also full of weaknesses. Why, if it was Oswald alone, do 1,171 CIA documents on the subject remain classified in the year 2013? There is no doubt something was and still is being concealed.

I was in 8th grade Latin class when the school started feeding radio news to all the classrooms. Anyone alive and aware that day remembers--I even knew a woman who was in her playpen at the time, but she vividly recalls her mother crying and the news of the assassination. The moment, the day, are burned into our memories.
I was no fan of JFK then, and nothing I have learned about him since has improved upon my estimation of him. But I still want to know the truth of that day.
After all these years, I do not think Oswald shot anyone that day. Remember the 'paraffin test' from all the cop shows? Oswald was given one, and while he had a low level positive on his hands (possible because of his handling books), nothing was found on his cheeks, which should have been there if he fired a rifle. Other men test-fired rifles, and had strong positives on hands and cheeks. The link to the Tippit killing is tenuous; eyewitness accounts differ and the bullets could not be linked to the handgun Oswald was carrying when he was arrested.
Was Oswald involved? Yes, he was. I believe he was exactly what he claimed, a patsy.
I believe there was a conspiracy. There are many candidates for leading this conspiracy, but the most compelling evidence points to LBJ, who benefitted the most from JFK's death.
All the blather about 'Camelot' is repulsive, and interesting only as an historical oddity in selling a mediocre man with a photogenic wife as a cultured man of towering insight and intellect. Nevertheless, we are still owed the truth about his killing since it affected every American alive then and those born thereafter.

“is everything just a coincidence”
As Tony Hillerman’s detective Che would say “There are no coincidences”.

Oswald did it. Alone...... With not a scintilla of outside or inside help. None, nada, zilch, zero, NOTHING!
Case closed, for the last 50 years now.

I’m not quite old enough to remember that day, so I hope one of you Freepers that do remember can explain something to me...
For my entire life I’ve heard the cliche repeated ad nauseum by the msm that says that “America lost it’s innocence when JFK was assassinated.”
Can any of you out there explain to me just what the -ell that means?

The left can never permit a consensus of opinion to form that JFK was killed by one of their own.

If the Soviets are to be ascribed a role in JFK's assassination, they must also be ascribed a motive... One of the Soviet's motives was that they liked to kill people.

“And isn’t it curious that still after all this time we do not have diplomatic relations with Cuber...”
In 1963 did anyone expect that fifty years later Fidel Castro would still be alive & ruling Cuba (through his commie brother)?
FWIW I think Oswald acted alone. The shots he took didn’t require a Fallujah sniper’s skill & he didn’t have to reach out 1000 meters to kill someone. It’s a matter of security. Today, the SS would routinely lock down that School Book Depository long before the motorcade arrived.
OK, conspiracy buffs: the bulletproof `Bubbletop’ already existed. It was November, not July, in Dallas. Why wasn’t it used on JFK’s open limo?

10 POPULAR CONSPIRACY THEORIES
1. The Mafia theory: Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy was conducting aggressive prosecutions and deportations of mobsters. Killing his brother put an end to that.
2. The LBJ theory: Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson had the most to gain from JFKs murder. He and Robert Kennedy hated each other. Johnson feared the Kennedy brothers planned to dump him from the Democratic ticket in 1964. But he and his fellow conspirators struck first.
3. The anti-Castro Cubans theory: Many freedom fighters died in the failed Bay of Pigs invasion of 1961. Cuban exiles living in the United States exiles never forgave JFK for failing to provide close air support for the invasion. So they had him killed.
4. The CIA theory: JFK and the CIA had their differences throughout his thousand days in office. CIA leaders feared that the president might disband the agency, especially after the CIA-sponsored Bay of Pigs fiasco. So they engineered his murder.
5. The Israelis theory: JFK did not support Israels drive to build nuclear weapons. The Israelis believed Joe Kennedy, the presidents father, was anti-Semitic and wielded influence over his son. LBJ reversed U.S. policy on Israeli nuclear arms once he became president.
6. The KGB theory: Russia was humiliated when its leaders backed down during the Cuban missile crisis of 1962. Oswald became a KGB operative after his defection to the Soviet Union in 1959. The Soviets programmed him to kill JFK.
7. The UFO cover-up theory: JFK wrote a letter to the CIA demanding to see secret UFO files. The insistent president might have leaked information about secret aerospace projects. He had to be silenced.
8. The Texas oil magnates theory: JFK planned to reduce or eliminate the oil depletion allowance, which brought millions in profits to oil producers. The oilmen made sure LBJ, a supporter of the depletion allowance, became president.
9. The J. Edgar Hoover theory: He hated his boss, Robert Kennedy, and didnt think the Kennedys gave him the respect he deserved. Hoover and Johnson were old friends. So Hoover made sure LBJ became president.
10. The Secret Service theory: Agent George Hickey accidentally shot JFK in the back of the head from the car behind the presidential limousine. The Secret Service covered up the horrible accident.

How about the possibility of those KGB agents behind all those conspiracy stories, theories, NOT A SINGLE ONE OF THEM, implicating the Soviets (talking about the published theories.) Supposedly someone from the KGB said that they were behind the wave of conspiracy theories.
