The Cuban assassin with a deadly secret: 'I shot JFK’
The Telegraph ^ | 15 Nov, 2013 | Neil Tweedie

And now, he has a name, of a man who fits the bill as Kennedy’s killer, who is said to have confessed his involvement in the assassination before being killed in a commando-style raid on Cuba.

“I have tried to write a book for the sane citizen that is open both to the lone assassin theory and something more complex,” says Summers. “The evidence that Oswald fired is pretty strong but also full of weaknesses. Why, if it was Oswald alone, do 1,171 CIA documents on the subject remain classified in the year 2013? There is no doubt something was and still is being concealed.”

Mr. Rate: Would’ve been a bad job to take, though.

Nick Memphis: How come?

Mr. Rate: Whoever took that shot’s probably dead now. That’s how conspiracy works. Them boys on the grassy knoll, they were dead within three hours. Buried in the damn desert. Unmarked graves out past Terlingua.

Nick Memphis: And you know this for a fact?

Mr. Rate: Still got the shovel!

B. Hussein, aka Barry Soetoro, has his personal records sealed.

You don’t suppose that these records are sealed to conceal something, do you?

I’ve always thought that Oswald was a shooter. I never thought he was the ONLY shooter though.

I watched an hour long special on JFK last night on CBS. I thought it might be interesting but it was the usual Kennedy and his American Camelot tale.

Plenty of Walter Cronkite and Dan Rather quotes. They did touch on the various assassination theories and basically toed the Warren Commission line.

They may well be right about that. I am certain Lee Harvey Oswald shot at him and maybe was the lone assassin but boy the whole thing sure reads like a conspiracy.

The man who had the most to lose if JFK served another term was the man who would not be on the ticket with JFK in 1964 he'd be on a docket somewhere;

that man was LBJ. The Kennedys weren't going to just dump him they were prepared to prosecute him IIRC; several of LBJ's cronies were already being investigated including number one Bobby Baker from LBJ's Senate Majority Leader days and Billie Sol Estes.

Many of us back then knew that Landslide Lyndon done it. He didn't pull the trigger but he got her done. Another book is out seeking to prove it. That's three by my count starting back when it happened.

I do remember the assassination. I had just come out of Geology class at the Univ. of Tennessee, Knoxville.

I think LBJ was capable of just about anything but I have never seen any real evidence of his involvement.

Several years ago, I was going through the attic of my G Grandfather’s old deserted house. It was located in the middle of nowhere in the Florida Panhandle.

To my surprise I found an old copy of the Texas State Baptist Newspaper. I have no idea why G Grandpa Padgett subsribed to that paper but he did. I think it was from the late 40’s.

On the back page was a full page ad from LBJ seeking the Baptist vote and promising an ethical Christian government if elected.

I still think that was funny. He surely fooled a lot of people.

About 25 years ago I heard a 76 year old man on a radio interview who claimed to have been a CIA operative and said he had delivered the weapon to Dallas. He said there was a South American dictator in town and he thought that’s who was going to be hit. He said the CIA had tried to kill him in on the Maryland Turnpike and the state police ended up in a shoot out with them. The interviewer said he had confirmed that with the Maryland State Police. When asked why he was willing to talk he said “I’m 76 years old. What can they do to me?”

The best article I ever saw was in Texas Monthly about 20 years ago. A young man said his father made a deathbed confession that he was the one who killed Officer Tippet. He said his father was in the Marines with Oswald and had only been on the Dallas PD for one month but had never filled out an application. He told his son about a trunk in their barn. His son said he gave it to a guy who said he was an FBI agent. He said he contacted the FBI a few months later and they said they had no one working there by that name.

KGB did an excellent job of diverting Americans’ attention in the assassination story. Oswald came back from the USSR, didn’t he? (More about that later.) He also visited the Cuban Embassy in Mexico City.

We’ve known for a long time that the Soviets had their agents in the US. Agents and sympathizers, useful idiots. Where, what did they do? No one seems interested in knowing. Even the $30 million or so a year transferred (how? what did it pay for? How about the so-called “civil rights movement”?) to Gus Hall is of no interest. How about the possibility of those KGB agents behind all those conspiracy stories, theories, NOT A SINGLE ONE OF THEM, implicating the Soviets (talking about the published theories.)

Next, we have heard of stories of Americans marrying a Russian and UNABLE to get that Russian to leave Soviet Union for years on end despite diplomatic interventions on the highest level. Here again, no one wants to add 2 and 2 and ask how come Oswald and his lovely Marina were so easily allowed to leave?! Duh!

Oh yes, I’ve read the recent accounts that have Oswald being an idiot that the Soviets were just happy to get rid of. Maybe. Or maybe not, since there were no other such returning defectors.

Even if there was no conspiracy and Oswald acted alone, everything from the beginning has pointed to the Soviets, and nothing to the Mafia, to the CIA, LBJ, and other fairy tale monsters of your silly theories.

What, though, would the Soviets have expected to gain from the assassination of Kennedy?

As it was, they gained no apparent advantage whatsoever.

If the Soviets are to be ascribed a role in JFK's assassination, they must also be ascribed a motive...

Cuba/Castro had a motive. JFK had attempted to have Fidel assassinates several times.

And isn't it curious that still after all this time we do not have diplomatic relations with Cuber...

I believe Officer Tipit was to kill Oswald—but Oswald caught on and killed him first—The Jack Ruby gambit was a quickly put together back up plan that had help from inside the police station.
