I would like to thank all who have welcomed me within the past almost 3 wks; esp ., "the old lady". I also vividly recall also "null and void" & lazmataz.
It's been nice having a posting priviledge here as a guest but I don't think FR is for me.
I'm a Constitutional Conservative and as many conservative opinions are voiced here I'm not seeing what I'm personally looking for in commentary.
It's sort of like dating isn't it? After a few dates, a few comments,a few opinions, one begins to draw conclusions. Free Republic just isn't for me.
I prefer a much more constitutionally conservative site to voice my opinion.
I wish you all well and thank you for welcoming me during this time to Free Republic.

Wonder how long she/he will stay in there before seeking revenge on the living.
It got a little slow but we made it. We’re a team. At work FR is a tough place to post from my Android Galaxy. I did the best I could. TheOldLady, Darksheare, and others hung in there too.

It was tough going at times some corner back kept tackling me by my dreadlocks everytime TheOldLady threw me a pass for a completion. But Darksheare finally took that fool out with a perfect block in the open field. I scored 6 and TheOldLady ran quarterback option for the 2 point conversion. We then did an onside kick. Darks got the ball. First down TheOldLady tosses to me and goes long I threw her a perfect timed pass she makes the catch and drags two defenders in for 6. We missed the PAT on a block. Onside kick again TheOldLady picks up the ball and carries it to their 40. 2 seconds left on the clock our kicker was injured. I take the snap and hold the ball and TheOldLady kicks it into the stands right in the middle of the uprights. It was a thing to behold.
I used my nail gun for that too!
I think King Prout had the original list and I think he left FR. I get notices sometimes on a move. I drop in then work gets intense and I end up not posting for a while and lose my UT key card.
Well, I can ping you, but you don’t have to answer if you’re not interested or busy at work. Of course.

I saw the thread and I had seen it coming for a long time. I will never write an Opus on FR, I’ll just fade away. I do not burn any bridges, real or virtual. Sometimes I do put roofing nails on a bridge to cause flat tires. But I don’t announce it. I chose not to attack Prout on his opus but I was disappointed in his manner and kept it to myself. It just doesn’t make sense to throw out a bunch of vague grievances like, “Everybody sux but me so I’m leaving. But I do like some of you” crap.

Start here:
Southwest Leg of Goat 1 leg of goat 2 whole cloves garlic 1/2 teaspoon crushed pepper 2 teaspoons salt 1 cup wine or vinegar 1 teaspoon sage 1 cup vegetable oil 3 large potatoes 3 onions 1 bay leaf, crumbled 3 large chiles 1 teaspoon rosemary 2 cloves garlic with skin removed Combine vinegar or wine and seasonings and pour over goat meat. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator 12 to 24 hours, turning often. Remove goat meat, strain marinade and reserve. Quarter potatoes and onions and place in shallow roasting pan along with chiles and garlic. Pur 1/4 cup marinade over goat meat. Roast at 325 F for approximately 25 minutes per pound of goat meat. Baste with 1/4 cup marinade 20-30 minutes before carving. Serve with vegetables.
It that's not to your liking, how about Jamaican Goat Curry.

I’m not a particularly good anything cook, but we’re gonna stick that goat on a spit over an open fire and lather it with beer barbeque sauce here and there and see what happens.
