I don't understand why it was necessary to portray this as a Texan issue seeing how disabled veterans injured during service is pretty well much a total Federal issue. Even buried in the middle of the article the author admits to this being a nationwide VA problem and not endemic to Texas.
Is Texas targeted for demonization

Texas is a good place for disabled Vets - they don't have the cold weather of the north and Texas isn't going to hassle them. Now, the Vet Admin. in Washington needs to be beaten with a stick to get them to give these Vets what they are entitled to. Whoever is in charge of Vet affairs needs to be dumped but that won't happen since Hussein can't stand patriotic Vets. And his Homeland Security thinks Vets are likely domestic terrorists. Well, preppers are also suspected of being domestic terrorists.
You can bet Washington would immediately give food stamps and housing and phones to illegals or blacks without asking questions and Vets can't get action. Hussein is a pox on humanity.
