What Has Happened to America?
CNSNews ^ | 11/4/2013 | Charlie Daniels

But, something has happened to America in the last couple of decades: a large part of the population has conceded its future to a government that grows bigger and more intrusive every day. Rather than take their heads out of the sand and admit that they are passing along a fiscal monster that's going to devour the prosperity of foreseeable generations, they choose to accept.

Actually it all started with the Great (decline in) Society that we've wasted trillions of dollars on and the bill is getting bigger everyday with no one to pay it.

We need to Restore the Constitution, ala Mark Levin:

Two goals separate our plan from all other Article V organizations:

1. We want to call a convention for a particular subject rather than a particular amendment. Instead of calling a convention for a balanced budget amendment (though we are entirely supportive of such an amendment), we want to call a convention for the purpose of limiting the power and jurisdiction of the federal government.

2. We believe the grassroots is the key to calling a successful convention. The goal is to build a political operation in a minimum of 40 states, getting 100 people to volunteer in at least 75% of the state legislative district (that’s 3,000 districts). We believe this is very doable. Only through the support of the American people will this project have a chance to succeed.

The decline in Christianity in the late 20th century that paralleled the rise of global communism. Democracy doesn’t work when people are selfish a-holes who only care about voting to steal other people’s money for themselves. Christianity helps make people not be selfish a-holes.

What has happened to America?

Well, America was the greatest achievement the world had ever seen. But it has now degraded into a sewer of socialism, faggotry, dopeheads, and degeneracy. We are front-row witnesses to its grotesque death.

At first I stated that I believe that 2/3 of Americans are stone idiots when it comes to the Federal Government. I still believe that at least half of that are still ignorant and will never get it. The rest are still weak and mostly worthless WHEN IT COMES TO GOVERNMENT. America is finished and will never come back around until the Democratic party is abolished. There is much more to be done but I'm getting tired of trying to explain.

By the way, miss Romney yet? Wasn't the best in the world but no Obamacare. And he was a stanch Constitutionalists.

Blacks are the most Christian of any race, Hispanics second

How do they vote?

One could write a book about what has happened to America.

I would add to what others have said, that liberalism is a key factor. Liberal attitudes, liberal TV shows, liberals running our schools, social policies being “non-judgemental” on everything from homosexuality to unwed motherhood to youth gangs and their graffiti and mayhem, to masses of illegal aliens changing the culture.

Add in, increasing the amounts of government public assistance programs which acts as a narcotic on people’s attitudes about being productive members of society someday.

With few exceptions, the Democrats and the Republicans are dismal failures at reviving the economy - and more importantly - the spirit of America.

And why should they be expected to? The success of the US economy was NEVER a consequence of government action, but ALWAYS a product of private endeavour and innovation.

Looking to the government for answers concerning GDP growth or economic productivity is like changing out your speedometer to make your car go faster.

The government CAN damage the economy however: by taking the profit from those who successfully compete, by forcing productive efforts to be redirected on unproductive regulatory makework, by the politics of patronage, i.e. by rewarding political supporters at the expense of political opponents.

So the best thing Charlie's third party can do, if they ever achieve political power, is to restore the free market and get the government OUT of the marketplace.

If blacks are the most Christ-like, how do they have an 80% illegitimate birth rate?

Obedience is better than sacrifice.

The sum total of 4+ decades of teaching Moral Relativism in the schools and preaching it in all media outlets.

The bulwark of people old enough to not be affected by that has died off to the point that the dike has broken.
