If the Redskins change their name, shouldn't the Celtics change their name to something like Chowderheads.

If Syracuse University is allowed to keep their teams’ names, why not name a team after the Taliban.

Illinois needs to step away from its racist name and rename the state in honor of its politicians: ILL-ANNOY.

Exactly - and "Fighting Irish is, from a PC viewpoint surely much worse.
On another board somebody suggested that Snyder should keep the name "Redskins" but change the logo to a potato.
Nobody normal is offended now suddenly after all these years by the name Redskins. This is all about power.

Boston can’t even pronounce the name right. Celtic is pronounced “Keltic” not “Seltic”.

Doesn’t matter what you call them this year...it won’t be “Champions.”
They are going to be bad this year. Might be just as well to change the name.

Don’t be silly, who cares about a team named after White people? How could that possibly be racist, remember the cardinal rule “ white people can only “be” racist, and can never be the victims of racism”. Caucasian in victimspeak translates to RACIST.

The Washington Redskins should change their name to the Washington Redinks. It would look similar and be more accurate.
