No we need Obama, like we needed Carter. There is more to come. We will eventually learn about this chicken shit and his policies. I’m sure there are stories upon stories about his conduct at meetings here and abroad. No, thank you, Mike, but in the long run you did us a good service by not beating this guy.

Fwiw, Ditka was a Palin backer when she was considering a run for the presidency. He does local charity work here and I heard he’s involved with a couple of pro-life groups. I also believe he’s a practicing Catholic and he’s agaisnt gay marriage.

I don’t think his career at ESPN is over, not locally in the Chicago area anyway. He’s very popular here even in blue IL because he coached the Bears to their only Super Bowl win. I highly doubt ESPN Chicago would let him go at this point.

The fix was in even then. Mike would have been another “accidental” road kill by the side of the political road. Obama wasn’t the free choice of the people, he was more like a guided missile. People didn’t realize this at that time.

His career at ESPN is just about over.

He still has his restaurant business. I once stayed a week at the Tremont Hotel in Chicago for a trade show in November where one of his restaurants is located. Da Coach was there several days before departing for his weekly broadcast appearance.

Try the Kick Ass Paddle Steak, it’s bigger than the plate they serve it on.

When Jack Ryan quit the race, the nominee should have been then-State Sen. Rauschenberger, since he was a state legislator, like Peter Fitzgerald, Paul Simon, and Carol Moseley-Braun. Rauschenberger was the only state senator, in that primary.

Ryan was driven from the race by ABC/Tribune cabal of liberal reporters and a corrupt CA judge. You’d never have heard of B. Obama if that conspiracy didn’t bear fruit.

If the Combine hadn’t given the order to take out Sen. Fitzgerald, the best Senator Illinois has had since Everett Dirksen, we wouldn’t have ended up with Zero.

I think Jack Ryan still could have beat him. It was silly Judy Baar Topinka that made him leave the race.

If Ditka had run he would have been murdered in a “tragic accident” the week before election day.

We owe 7 of 9 (Borg, Star Trek Voyager, Jeri Ryan) a whopping. If she and her husband wouldn’t have divorced, we wouldn’t be stuck with Obama, who fought and got the divorce court record unsealed.

Just disgraceful human being, all around.

She reportedly felt bad about that, but she’s the one who brought that crap up in court to give herself a leg up in the divorce, people stop at nothing in child custody fights, disgusting. Very unfortunate, I think Ryan could have won.

Keyes was a patsy, set up to lose and lose big. Oh at the time I loved the move, but no it was epically awful, and meant to be so. So the RINOs could say “see a conservative can’t win in IL”. One who was actually from the state and didn’t have Keyes hardcore reputation would have done a LOT better.

I am mystified why anyone is putting Warren’s name out there for PRESIDENT! In most states she would have lost that Senate race, badly.

I think horrible Governor O’Malley is non-Clinton to watch. I’m interested to see how much impact Biden has, it’s unusual for a VP who’s interested to be a huge underdog.

If I were a Democrat, I’d hope that Andrew Cuomo or Janet Napolitano will win that party’s presidential nomination, in 2016. Two of the last three democrat presidents were governors. Cuomo and Napolitano have been governors and cabinet members.

Cuomo Jr. is one thing, but big sis? If you were a democrat you'd want a mannish lesbian with baggage from years of service as Obama's henchwench as your nominee? ;)

Don't put too much an emphasis on resume points like Governor or cabinet member, it's all about that connection to the voter. Janet would go over as well as a pregnant pole vaulter.

The majority of Republicans think that Napolitano has baggage, because of Obama. I don’t know of any Democrats who agree with that.

We’ve talked about this on FR for ten years now. Ditka would have ended Obama’s career before it ever started. Ditka should have done it if only to avenge the disgusting attacks on Jack Ryan using his divorce records.

Not sure if you live in Illinois, I do. I worked the Ryan campaign and then volunteered for the Keyes campaign. As much as I hate Obama (and I hate the sorry ass piece of shit!) the fact is the Republican party in this state is a complete f'ing joke. I lost track of all the "celebrity" names that were bantered about that year to run for US Senate.

The Republican Party in Illinois is normally in a state of disarray here, in 2004 it was a complete joke. Every name they bantered about turned into one publicity stunt or "hail mary" to save Fitzgerald's seat keeping it Republican after another.

The fact is, after what the Republican Party did to Peter Fitzgerald in this state, the RINO's got their asses handed to them for a reason.

They should've supported Fitzgerald, instead they mocked and minimized him and drove him out of office.

To Peter Fitzgerald's credit, his greatest contribution to this state was Independent Investigator Patrick Fitzgerald (no relation) who finally started breaking up the political corruption in this state, sending two filthy, corrupt Governors (Republican Ryan, Democrat Blagojevich) to federal prison, then seeing to it that trash like Jesse Jackson Jr. finally got indicted for political corruption also.

If you live here in IL, would you be so kind as to let me know when the RINO GOP ELITE Bastards are finally tossed out and a credible Republican runs for Governor here?

That'll likely be my last vote in this worthless, piece of shit socialist HELL HOLE as soon as my two sons are finished with high school, I'm outta here. I cannot wait.
