An Arab sheikh who parked his massive car in a public square in front of the town hall of the Spanish city of Valencia has escaped punishment because the vehicle was too large to be towed away.

I know someone who used to be a tow truck operator. He spotted a Rolls parked in the fire lane. He salivated at the opportunity to tow it. Just before he was about to hook the car, his dispatcher called him and told him not to touch it. People with Rolls Royces have the means to sue over such things, whether justified or not, best to leave it be.

Personally, I would have offered the Sheikh two options. Either move the vehicle or, since it is beyond the capacity of the city’s tow trucks, he (certainly within capacity) gets hooked up with cables and “towed” through the streets to the local lock up. Somehow I think the car would get moved.
