Sure it was too big to be towed. They have tow trucks for trucks that could’ve handled it. False claim.

I know someone who used to be a tow truck operator. He spotted a Rolls parked in the fire lane. He salivated at the opportunity to tow it. Just before he was about to hook the car, his dispatcher called him and told him not to touch it. People with Rolls Royces have the means to sue over such things, whether justified or not, best to leave it be.

Personally, I would have offered the Sheikh two options. Either move the vehicle or, since it is beyond the capacity of the city’s tow trucks, he (certainly within capacity) gets hooked up with cables and “towed” through the streets to the local lock up. Somehow I think the car would get moved.

That is the story they are giving to the peasants. The real story is that he is too rich to be treated the same as everyone else.
