Poll after poll shows that people oppose it.
WTF??????
Don’t kid yourself... fox is progressive today.
Bizarre, because there’s been no mass outpouring of support for this law, and most people - both doctors and patients - are shocked by the new costs.
Loving OBayMeCare is like loving the Holocaust, IMO; same ole; same ole. Great until they come for you, wanna bet?
1. I like paying more for less insurance coverage and higher co-pays.
2. I love big brother.
3. I love dealing with government bureaucrats and mountains of rules and regulations.
4. I like government being both the supplier AND decider of what health care I get.
5. I like stealth plans that will one way or another force everyone into single payer, government-only healthcare.
I gotta believe that’s why these people like this socialist bullsh1t. I mean what socialist program that’s been rammed through by the left the last 85 years hasn’t been a monumental success?
look up SUPERCILIOUS in the dictionary and see Sally’s picture.
If OBAMACARE SUBSIDY HEALTH INSURANCE TAX,” aka OSHIT, is so popular, then why isn’t Mr. Michelle Obama enrolled?
I have to point out once again: Just like a tweaker who has been given meth. They will love it and scream if you try to take it away from them, even they know that it is bad for them in the long run. FDR pushed social security over tremendous public rejection. But today, show me one person who is willing to give up their social security, even though everyone recognizes that it is a Ponzi scheme doomed to failure. We were hooked. The ACA will get us hooked too; costs be damned.
It is in their Opinion page. Meanwhile, other stories on the website detail the continuing problems and negative reactions to ObummerCare.
Sally Kohn is a “Fox News Contributor.”
Of course everyone knows that every one of us has a pre existing condition.
And once I sprout wings I can fly to the moon.
Because just like Republicans railed against Social Security and Medicaid and Medicare when they were first proposed, those programs are now highly effective and broadly popular parts of our social safety net
Highly effective? Compared to what? The article is written like it's not supposed the be satire, but seriously. The entire thing is drivel.
Sally Kohn is a freak of nature.
Social Security and Medicaid and Medicare when they were first proposed, those programs are now highly effective ...Hmmmm... Broke, broker and brokest. How’s that working out?
Oh, wait. They mean that when low info voters are told...
1) Your healthcare will be free
2) They have to GIVE you health insurance even if you have pre-existing conditions.
3) Everybody in America will get this free insurance
4) Your health care expenses will go down.
5) The cost of health care will go down for everybody
..... then they are for it? That’s what they approve of huh?
Now ask them if they are for it after telling them the truth...
1) If you get to keep your employer provided insurance, your premium will go up about 25 to 50%. Otherwise you premium is going up 100%
2) If you have a pre-existing condition, you can still buy insurance, but good luck covering that $15K annual premium.
3) This program is so good, congress passed a law exempting themselves from it.
4) If you decide you can’t afford insurance under the new “Affordable Care Act” then you have to pay a fine (or tax per the supreme court)
5) About 30 million people will still be uninsured under Obamacare (about the same as before obamacare)
6) The cost of healthcare to our country is increasing by over a trillion dollars.
Does anyone really think premiums are going to go down? They won’t go down for people who have never had insurance, and never paid a premium at the emergency room. They won’t go down for the people from middle income up, who will be paying for those with middle incomes down. Coverage will go down, while out of pocket pays will soar. How cool is that?
Lets say, for example, a family of three pays $10,000 a year in premiums from a $50,000 a year income. A member of the family goes into the hospital for a colon resection, and the insurance pays $30,000, leaving $80,000 to be paid by the family. How realistic is that? For a family of three making $50,000 a year in today’s economy, the difference between $80,000 and $110,000 means nothing, when it is impossible to pay off either one.
BS BS BS
