The Republicans are colluding with the Democrats to delay Obamacare until January 2015 and thereby give the Obama regime a chance to smooth out the wrinkles so it works right. The delay will also keep the issue from hurting the rats too much during the coming year's 2014 mid-term election campaign.
Do some people actually believe that a "delay" is in any way a "win" for Republicans?
In return for giving the rats another year-plus to deepen the roots of their communist healthcare and get it working smoother, the Republicans will cave on the debt ceiling. What a deal.
Wow, are we ever being played.
I don’t need to talk to more people to know that most have yet to feel the pain that will come with signing up for 0bamaCare and dealing with the IRS neither of which has happened yet. You say a lot of people have felt its effects. Granted. I am saying that that’s a drop in the bucket compared to what’s coming between now and next April 15th if it’s not delayed.
At this point, I will take the one year delay knowing the GOP leadership will not act. It is up to us.
I consider what Cruz did on the Senate floor a success. He gave voice to those leadership ignored. He brought the issue to the national stage making it impossible to ignore.
Bottom line: they might be playing us but we can fight back. We have the momentum. It is a moment we cannot waste.
One example of that is how many jobs this administration is destroying so that the people feel scared and unable to take care of themselves. They will be more inclined to say we need the govt. healthcare with the subsidies, etc..
But Bonehead and McConnell have to go.
You still haven't answered the question; The administration has been busily building the infrastructure of the unionized bureaucracy for four years. How have they done that without funding?
I don’t like this putting it off until after the election crap. It’s exactly the bullet the Rats want to dodge, and rat-bastid Bohner’s helping them.
As far as I am concerned, they already own it.
Outside of Cruz and Lee, I pretty much hate, loathe and despise the GOP.
A delay is a win for AMERICA. What the Republicans should do is issue a subpoena to Chief Justice John Roberts and ask him under oath if he was blackmailed into upholding 0bamacare as Constitutional, and why his initial written opinion was CONTRARY to his final ruling.
Right you are, they are the two biggest killers of any momentum we get going.
The opportunities that have been squandered this year alone were amazing.
So much so, I can only figure the *fix* was in and probably is still in.
Republicans in the house and senate need people in the leadership who will stand and fight not run and hide.
If they don't at this point, there is no need for a Republican party.
If it’s the bullet the Rats want to dodge, if the Rats WANT this delay, why is Harry Reid saying it’s dead on arrival?
At this point in the realm of politics it'd probably be best to start altering the usual "us vs. them" from the Democrats v. Republicans they use to play us into something that they cannot so easily use to divide us: Elites vs. Plebes for Obamacare; Justice vs. Corruption for Fast & Furious; Statist vs Constitutionalist (or even rationally concerned citizen) for the NSA.
Let's start making the "them" be the baddies in DC — heck they've given us "weapon's grade" ammo with the IRS and NSA scandals ‐ and making the "us" be the regular guy on the street… even many nominally liberal people can easily see the dangers of the NSA's programs.
Anyone who believes any politician gives a crap about their constituents, and has not seen this, should read it.It is long, but not boring.

I’m game for that, if we can make it stick. Boehner is most certainly not on our side.
Not killing 0bamaDontCare before 2014 maybe the reality.
Delaying it past Nov 2014 is a serious error.
If Reid was tap-dancing and victory-lapping over it, all the Pubbies in the Senate may hang tough on Cloture. He has to act like it’s a s*** sandwich or he can’t get it through his caucus, either.
This is brilliant.
And then said: I am saying that thats a drop in the bucket compared to whats coming between now and next April 15th if its not delayed.
So what DO you mean? Care to clarify?
You still haven't answered the question; The administration has been busily building the infrastructure of the unionized bureaucracy for four years. How have they done that without funding?
And I asked you to find a link pertaining to that as I found nothing. Zip. Zilch. Nada. The only thing that I've ever heard is that they took Medicare funds.
Did you read this?
How to Constitutionally Fund the Government: Its the Houses prerogative to supply funds, or not..
To begin with, it should be obvious enough that the so-called Affordable Care Act that authorized Obamacare is not self-executing. Washington can call it mandatory, but if new spending approval were unnecessary, we would not be at a stalemate now.
It isn't clear if it's already gotten funding or needs funding to implement. Btw, that article is worth a read.
Now, if you intend to get rude we can end the conversation now.
So far quite a few Republicans have proven to be Dem sympathizers with those two at the top. I absolutely agree that they are self-interested wheeler dealers.
That’s not how I see it. I see wailing and gnashing of teeth from the left that their new toy might be delayed. I don’t agree we are being played. I think the GOP finally found their balls since people really don’t like this law.
If it gets delayed till 2015 and there is a 2014 election to remove more Democrats and Rinos, then good.
