We've spoken with several people who have won Emmys who are upset with the decision to give a special honor to Cory Monteith but not Jack Klugman, and they're all too scared to speak out ... for fear of some sort of retaliation.
Jack Klugman -- who has won 3 Emmys and starred in TV classics -- "The Odd Couple" and "Quincy M.E." -- has been overlooked and disrespected for special mention during tonight's ceremony. Instead ... Cory Monteith gets the honor. Jack's son thinks it's ridiculous and disrespectful, and he's right.

Yep. It is a shame, because Jack Klugman had a career of DECADES, and was a fixture on TV in my family’s home. Never heard of Cory till he died.

I had to look him up to remind me who he was.
These guys are competing with the end of Dexter and the second to last show of Breaking Bad. The ONLY viewers they are going to have are 14 year old girls. They need all of the help they can get.
Who is Cory? Never heard of him. Always enjoyed Jack in any show he was in. Who was his wife who used to appear on a game show? Was it Brett ????

Sticking a gun to my head could not get me to care any less for this Hollywood squabble.
Had two friends, whi are very pc into gay, tell me about this dude.
I had to look him up as I had no idea who he was.
F’ing outrage is right and how I voted on TMZ, which was 95% of voting opinions.
Apparently he wasn’t gay but, was happy to play the poster boy giving relevancy and validation to those who think of themselves as LGBT.
Also, his so callled girlfriend wasn’t into him anymore and was seeing someone else at the time of his death and maybe playing in snow, at a party, a week after his passing.
Not that I begrudge anyone living their life and having fun.
Finally, it looks more like he was less of a drug addict than a junkie.
Drug addicts typically function and mostly have their chit together.
Junkies are usually in and out of rehab/jail, do nit really manage their addiction/life well and die from their desperate need to get high.
Doesn’t sound so fun to me.
They don’t have enough spare moments in this usually-bloated telecast to honor both? Sheesh.

I wouldn’t know Cory Monteith if I steppedWOW, I never knew that he lived or died. Jack Klugman is another story.
