Still closing on this house the 23rd. Just had the inspection on the new house Thursday and they have till Monday to respond. If they void I’m homeless, but I don’t think they will. They need to fix one of the air conditioners and that’s the biggest thing, all the other things a handyman can do.

I have to run to the store.
I shot yesterday in a 200 yard Springfield/vintage rifle match out at the range. Most were shooting Garands or 1903s, and I (as usual) was near the back of the pack with my trusty Mosin-Nagant, lol!
But the weather was absolutely perfect, and any day at the range is better than a day mowing the grass. ;)

I’ve been waiting 9mos for Alexander Arms to ship 10 .50cal mags, and all I’m getting are email notes of backorder volume.
I have the original 10-rnd mag it came with, and 3 I made myself from AR-15 30rnd mags, by spreading the feed slips. Reliable 100% So I’ll modify some of the many 30-40 Bushy mags and one of the SureFire 60-rnd, to see how they work. Proprietary parts are a bitch.
Can’t go to NAPA, AutoZone or Cabellas and get them off the shelf.
LOL! They have their regular Garand matches, but they also have the one like yesterday that pretty much allows most any old military service rifle (that’s how I can shoot with the old Ruski rifle.
I’m pretty lousy in all three stages, but especially the prone rapid-fire. I can’t manage to pace myself. Get in too big a hurry and end up with too many 6s, 5s, or outright misses. Score goes downhill in a hurry, lol.

People are buying those Alexander Arms mags because technically they are not a high capacity mag, but can be used as such should the need arise.
Absolutely! I wish I’d asked what the top scorer used. He shot a 282 (out of 300) with 5 X’s.
My club does the “ NRA National Gallery Pistol” course once a week. You have to shoot with one hand. I’m happy if I get it on the paper my shoulders are so arthritic.
Ahhh... Shooting weather is upon us.

That would help but costs more than the rifle.
Why not just get a K-31 with a nice 2-stage trigger?
