People are buying those Alexander Arms mags because technically they are not a high capacity mag, but can be used as such should the need arise.
The FFL & gunsmith think they can convert my 30/40/60-rnd mags with just feed lips mods. I’m going down Tuesday to pick-up the Beowulf “fully-accessorized”, and Dad’s getting my pristine Mossberg 144LS .22LR with new scope.
At 89, I’m getting him and me into classes and range time, so he becomes proficient with his new S&W 642-2 .38 Special.

The three converted 20-rnd mags AR-15 mags will hold 11 rnds, whereas AA’s best offering is 10-rnd mags. I’m going to try to convert a newer 30-rnd and 40-rnd AR-15 mag, and see what happens.
