It sounds like Voyager needs new brake pads.

Had to look that one up on Wiki. I knew it was "nuclear," but saying just that doesn't tell a person much, and I can never seem to remember the RTG acronym, or even that the element is plutonium, so from Wiki:
Electrical power is supplied by three MHW-RTG radioisotope thermoelectric generators (RTGs). They are powered by plutonium-238 (distinct from the Pu-239 isotope used in nuclear weapons) and provided approximately 470 W at 30 volts DC when the spacecraft was launched. Plutonium-238 decays with a half-life of 87.74 years,[20] so RTGs using Pu-238 will lose a factor of 1−0.5{1/87.74} = 0.79% of their power output per year.
(Note: it is far too far out there now for solar panels.)

Even after reading that I still have trouble digesting that the sound is accurately depicted.

Record yourself and play the recording back at the same playback rate as the NASA video and you’ll see what I mean.

What an amazing spacecraft. It’s over 30 AU out there. Been traveling a long time.

When played backwards you can hear “Where’s the ka-boom. There’s supposed to be an earth shattering ka-boom. Delays, Delays.”
