Considering purchase of Long Term Care insurance.
I listen to Dave Ramsey all the time on the radio and heed his advice on many issues.
I am going to his website now to see what that holds.
Thanks for the reminder.
Condolences to your aunt’s death of her daughter. Oh my what a shock.
And to the family I will pray.
It is very hard and a sharp reminder of the fact that no matter what you plan sometimes things just hit out of the clear blue.
Marcella, that is exactly what I am fearful of, both my parents lasted along time in nursing homes with dementia.
However today with the supreme leader that we have today in the Government, I am afraid to put money in an insurance account for LTC insurance and have his gov’t abscond the funds.
Today the price of 24 hr care (and the people giving the care) is scary.
God Bless
All depends on how much it costs. If it’s an amount of money that means nothing to you sure, if it has meaning then you need to consider your health and lifestyle and how likely are you to need it. At my company long term is like $5 a month, the whole year’s worth wouldn’t even buy me a good bottle of scotch, so it’s meaningless money, so I do it.
Great that your company is offering that to their employees. Don’t you wonder how long that will last;)?
My insurance comes from a small company that just is keeping employees at under the gov’t limit.
Can you even believe that we are talking about keeping Gov’t limits! Scary....
