I enjoy reading each one of the movie ads you post, Homer.
What a bountiful buffet of great films of every genre was available to us as kids going to Saturday matinees at the local Bijou....clutching our dime to buy a ticket and our nickel to buy a yummy "all-day Holloway sucker"!
Today's yutes have little idea of what cinematic glory we enjoyed in our younger days. This week's most exciting movie news is of Tokyo Jane Fonda's role in a particularly dull social-justice movie....plus the announcement of yet another boring clod slated to star in a comic book-based Batman "epic" flick.
Thank heavens for the TV classic movies so we can regularly revert back to the fascinating days of hundreds upon hundreds of cinematic masterpieces to choose from....and to re-live them with or without a Holloway sucker.
