Somehow in the next 4 shows something has to happen to get the house foreclosed AND the next door neighbor to be so shocked at seeing him that she drops here groceries AND YET Walt is not in jail
Hank could not pay the bills because it would expose him to the DEA as someone with way too many assets. These folks have a nice pension and god salary, but most live month to month.
Their medical insurance is all they got.
I can imagine a never ending supply of new cases each week for Saul.

My opinion is that scene (which opened the season) will somehow be negated or shown to be a fantasy scene or..... but...
Walt will set everything right in the end. His life does not end in disaster even though maybe he dies.
I like the greasy lowdown murderous hoodlums Todd is with. They spice up the show
Saul plus you keep some of the characters and other drop in every few weeks or so.
If I was near Albuquerque I would get on a tour to see the spots where Breaking Bad takes place. The Dog House made a re-appearance last week or the week before

Walt’s family is the ONLY thing Jesse can go after that he knows will hurt Walt.
But I dont think Hank will go for a plan to hurt the family
Even Jesse told Hank that Walt is totally out of the business... and I think Hanks wife heard that.
As for the house- I dont think they ever go back except maybe to get things- I think Walt Jr. is the one who paints Heisenburg onto the wall.
Vince Gilligan has always said that Walt must pay the price for what he’s done. It’ll break the whole model if his life doesn’t end in disaster.
I was not aware of this..... I like a good fair ending where the protagonist comes out on top. Walt is not 100% bad and evil. If he comes to a 100% bad ending, this is too negative for me.
We shall see.
By now Walt is pretty solidly 100% evil. He didn’t even flinch when Todd killed that kid. Remember the sales pitch of the show was “we’ll turn Mr Chips into Scarface”. And Scarface always goes down. We like to root for the hero even when he’s an anti-hero, but anti-heroes can’t win in the end.

Well, I don’t think Hank would hurt them beyond revealing that Walt isn’t what he seems to Jr/getting him to maybe take the baby. If he tells Jr before hand as a way to make Walt’s efforts pointless or it comes out from an indictment, so far it looks like Hank wants it to come out, at least eventually.

Could be. I keep thinking that they have four episodes, would the writers want to give more than one to Jr’s reactions? Might be tempting to show that.
It would be pretty funny if they went the exact opposite route and have Jr. be totally into it like the gambling thing. I kid, kinda.
Or have Walt die before the last episode and have the last episode dealing with all his garbage and the consequences. I bet you could hear the howling across the country. Again, not likely!

I just checked on AMCTV.com and the last episode airs on 29 Sept. which means that there are four(4) episodes left.
I think that the writers plan on messing with everybodys head again and the money in the desert is going to disappear. Just like Hank stopping Jesse from torching Walt’s house, it will be revealed that someone tracked, trailed or discovers where Walt buried the money and they have it removed.
Is it Jesse? That would be a low blow from the writers as up to this point of the series, Jesse hasn’t been able to formulate a plan to wear underwear the next day, much less be devious enough to discover its hiding place.
Saul could have had Walt tailed except for the fact that Saul is scared to death of Walt.
That leaves Lydia and her gang of desperados. Wouldn’t you just love to take Lydia home to meet the folks? She is warmth and caring personified.
What I do not understand is why did Walt and Skyler not bugout once Walt decided not to cook anymore. They had to have known that their secret could not have remained hidden forever. They could have told everyone that they were moving to the coast to enjoy Walt’s final few months or something similar. For someone who has been one-to-two steps ahead of everyone the last couple of seasons, Walt has really gummed this whole thing up.

This never entered my mind. For me he is 25% evil and most of his killings were justified. Most or all were tying up loose ends. So either Walt killed person X or person X would kill Walt first or squeal to law enforcement.
He has two inexcusable kills: letting Jane die (which of course lead to many more deaths), and letting Todd kill the kid during the train robbery. Neither of those was kill or be killed, the kid might have presented a problem but probably not (kids are cheap to bribe, and who’s going to believe them).
And even some of the folks inside the business were borderline. He didn’t have to kill Mike or his crew. He didn’t have to kill Gale and more importantly he didn’t have to force Jesse to kill Gale. All the battling with Gus (with all the deaths) was purely Walt’s fault.
Then of course there’s the non-deaths. The vast array of lies and manipulations. The non-lethal poisoning of Brock. Walt’s just a scumbag now. He sees the world as tools and obstacles, classic sociopath. He started off trying to make enough money to keep his family well, but the ego got in the way, he decided he wanted an empire. That’s when he became 100% evil.
Plus how many times this season have we been told that Walt is the devil? Marie said it jokingly near the end of season 5 episode 8 and Jessie said it last episode.
For all the reason you listed Walt is evil.
There may a little good in him but only like the amount that was in Darth Vader at the end of Return of the Jedi.
Really where I see his evil most is his relationship with Jesse. Here’s this former student of his that at first he treated as almost a second son, and he was taking this opportunity to teach him again. It was great, loving even. Sure Walt got frustrated when Jesse did dumb things, but that’s still parental. Then Walt let’s Jane die, OK Jane got Jesse back on the drugs probably not the best girlfriend, but you can’t just let your “son’s” girlfriend die next to him, that’s no good. Then he makes Jesse kill Gale, for no real reason other than Walt didn’t want the blood on his hands. No good person turns even a surrogate son into a killer like that.

yeah, that’s one thing I could not get over in this show- Jesse killing Gale.
I always hoped the next show was gonna show he didn’t kill him, just wounded him in the arm so he could not cook and warned him to leave

Me too. I only watch what I can get online - and that's very selective. Breaking Bad is incredibly well written. I generally hate TV. FR is my biggest vice (guess that makes me seem fairly pathetic).

The show has done a very good job of showing the situational ethics of just about every character. Skyler now thinks it’s OK to kill someone (’What’s one more?’). Hank will sacrifice Jesse’s life, and lie to him, to get what he wants - Walter to get nailed. This also shows that Hank’s driven partially by ego. The only one is isn’t really a hypocrite is Saul - who has no ethics. The only character I really feel for on this show is Junior.
