ESPN is expected to announce on Wednesday that the former network mainstay Keith Olbermann, who contentiously departed in 1997, will return to host a one-hour, nightly show for ESPN2 later this year, according to three executives with knowledge of the deal but not authorized to speak about it publicly.

Thats fine. Most sports journalists are almost as loathsome as the regular kind.
He will inevitably interject politics into his comments and probably play the race card too.
Now more than ever, we need ala carte cable television.
And Fox Sports 1 will celebrate.
I’ve never liked this idiot Olbermann. When he leaves ESPN again, he can join another ex-ESPNer, the detestable Dana Jacobsen, and member of the Ingrate Hall of Fame, Tiki Barber, on their disgusting show.
He is the WORLD’S WORST EMPLOYEE!
Over at Current he had reportedly driven Joel Hyatt to the point where he was about ready to take a meat cleaver to Olby.
Won’t be long till he starts p*ssing them off and is shown the door.
wasn’t he actually pretty good as a sportscaster?
Unlike Libtards we do not demand people be fired from any job they hold just because we disagree with them
If he keeps his politics out of it he may be able to hold onto a job
Olbermann's contract expressly forbids him from mentioning politics. I'm sure he'll try to find a loophole someplace, being the good little Communist we know he is, but there you have it.

These guys get shuffled around from one loser network to another and the same hand full of angry libtards watch them.
Fine, I watch ESPN even less than MSBSNBC
Must have gotten his meds right long enough for the interview.
Hopefully he insults some menacing linebacker the way he has republican politicians and unlike a girley man politician the linebacker breaks olberbutt in half
Actually it doesn’t but who am I to criticize uncritical reporting lifted straight from the Times. Olbermann has made it clear that he didn’t like what politics was doing to him and has consequently lost any emotion for the subject in the last year. Judging by the informative and entertaining debut it will be around at least a year. We’ll see what happens when Bush shows up as a guest. lol
Fox Sports 1, Fox Soccer Channel, NBC Sports Network that now has EPL games, NFL Network, local NFL games. Who needs ESPN?
Nascar fans for sure, at least until 2014.
Patience grasshopper.
Though I suppose having this plethora of cable television networks around DOES keep a large number of our mentally ill out of institutions.....
