I predict he lasts one year. Olbermann was always an offbeat-style sports reporter but all the sports fans who previously liked him will now, like me, detest him for his 12 years of bullsh-t on MSNBC. Olby has not mellowed with time but has become more obnoxious and more strident. ESPN will have wasted millions on another dumb experiment in sports reporting.

Thats fine. Most sports journalists are almost as loathsome as the regular kind.

He will inevitably interject politics into his comments and probably play the race card too.

I’ve never liked this idiot Olbermann. When he leaves ESPN again, he can join another ex-ESPNer, the detestable Dana Jacobsen, and member of the Ingrate Hall of Fame, Tiki Barber, on their disgusting show.

He is the WORLD’S WORST EMPLOYEE!
Over at Current he had reportedly driven Joel Hyatt to the point where he was about ready to take a meat cleaver to Olby.
Won’t be long till he starts p*ssing them off and is shown the door.

wasn’t he actually pretty good as a sportscaster?
Unlike Libtards we do not demand people be fired from any job they hold just because we disagree with them
If he keeps his politics out of it he may be able to hold onto a job

Fox Sports 1, Fox Soccer Channel, NBC Sports Network that now has EPL games, NFL Network, local NFL games. Who needs ESPN?

No surprise from the big liberal sports network. Seems like every other week Outside the Lines is touting the injustice of a Lesbian coach who got fired for dating a player or how some gay person somewhere is is being “offended”. Or how bad the Redskins name is while ignoring that the majority of Native Americans don't mind and what big government liberalism has actually done to Native Americans.

Any reason you’re re-posting this article from over a month ago?
As for me, and as much as I hate NBC in general, if I had to choose to keep just one of ESPN and NBCSN, I’d be going with NBCSN.
I just don’t see what ESPN brings to the plate anymore that’s special - they really don’t have any exclusive sports anymore, just a channel for showing specific games/events for sports that are otherwise available elsewhere. Their “news” also shows are no better than the competitors, at best.
