Olbermann's contract expressly forbids him from mentioning politics. I'm sure he'll try to find a loophole someplace, being the good little Communist we know he is, but there you have it.

Actually it doesn’t but who am I to criticize uncritical reporting lifted straight from the Times. Olbermann has made it clear that he didn’t like what politics was doing to him and has consequently lost any emotion for the subject in the last year. Judging by the informative and entertaining debut it will be around at least a year. We’ll see what happens when Bush shows up as a guest. lol

The article is old. He already started his show, and he already mentioned politics, in the first minute of the show.
