Survivor: Blood vs. Water is the 27th season of Survivor. It begins Wednesday, September 18, 2013 on CBS at 8/7c with a special 90 minute episode.
Redemption Island returns, but with a twist: remaining players will be forced to choose whether to "save" their partner on Redemption Island and switch places with them, thus allowing their partner to immediately re-enter the game, or leave them in exile to survive on their own.
As with the last two seasons, this season takes place in the Philippines, but in a different location: Palaui Island, Cagayan.

There have always been multiple HII so why is Tyson so confident there is only one? Doesn't make sense unless production told him.
Ciera wasn’t a master mind. She just did what every 3rd grader would do - nuh huh, I have it. Katie was the 2nd grader who fell for it.
Who the heck does Ciera think she is. There’s no way she’s going to win, yet she’s been all over throwing mama from the train since day one. Laura should never have brought her along. Oooh, I love you mama but you’re bad for MYYYYYY game. Laura should have taken her to task and set her straight - I brought you into this world and I can take you out. Ciera would never have been there except for her mama and she’s done nothing to help THEIR game advance. If she’d worked a bit with her mama and with Tina and Katie, they all would have advanced further.
The girls should have taken out Tyson this week. They had the numbers with Caleb but women can never work together. Men can set aside their feelings and work as a team. Women are too much into immediate back stabbing.
Wow, who knew Caleb was still around. He actually spoke this week!

Redemption Island last night: Vytas wins and gives clue to Katie, who keeps it. Tina comes in second. Aras is eliminated and becomes the first jury member. Laura M joins RI.
Combined Reward and Immunity challenge winner: Monica, who keeps immunity and gives the reward away to the other members

So then everybody voted for Laura except Laura who voted Katie. It was 7 to 1.
Ciera could have avoided all the histrionic handwringing and voted for Katie making it 6 to 2, and then she would still be welcome at mam’s for Thanksgiving dinner.
The melodrama last night was over the top.
So the Big Blindside is next week — who’s gonna screw it up.

I’m trying to figure out who I dislike the least.
So now we morph from a clear Tyson blindside to Ciera being exposed as a scheming lying eyelash-batting double agent who is a disappointment to the mother who embarrasses her.
Will Ciera be the one blindsided???

That is the truth - at least for four of them.
Ciera’s reaction to her mom’s tugging on the heart strings there at the duel is just too precious.

In one week she goes from the loving daughter forced to make a gut-wrenchingly emotional decision to vote out her mother for the good of the team to a daughter who betrayed her mother in order to survive.
Did the producers watch the same show that we did last week???
Ciera tried to get her mother another week by lobbying unsuccessfully for Katie to be voted off instead of her mother.
And in the end the vote was 7 to 1 — like Ciera’s one vote would have made a difference or that her mother even knows how she voted. Jeff only read what?? — 6 of the 8 votes.
I hope they have some grief counselor’s over there at the Ponderosa because they will be needed.
One wonders who he is referring to??? Ciera??? Hayden???
This episode could be Tyson's finest hour if he plays "it" right .... or if he can get through it with his elder alliance still intact without having to play "it" at all.
The big question is: Will he take the chance of going to RI with "it" still in his pocket???

It favors the women again aka lightweights — certainly not the limp-wristed.

My guess: Tyson plays the idol and Ciera sent to RI
I’m fine with Tyson, Ciera or Monica going home. Tyson has the idol but will he know to play it if it’s a blindside. I’ll put him and Monica on the back burner just to laugh when karma bites Ciera.

Caleb should have told Monica at the challenge “You see the final three sitting over there. There are four of us here.”
Monica would have said: “I only see two of the final three over there. You’re talking to the third.”
Hayden and Katie are toast—
I was also not surprised Laura was helping Tina.
Tina can be beaten any time and Vytis was a threat (Well, for some of them). By Laura keeping Tina around She has an easy win if a tough challenge comes along - so she only really has to “win” the last challenge.
