Survivor: Blood vs. Water is the 27th season of Survivor. It begins Wednesday, September 18, 2013 on CBS at 8/7c with a special 90 minute episode.
Redemption Island returns, but with a twist: remaining players will be forced to choose whether to "save" their partner on Redemption Island and switch places with them, thus allowing their partner to immediately re-enter the game, or leave them in exile to survive on their own.
As with the last two seasons, this season takes place in the Philippines, but in a different location: Palaui Island, Cagayan.
Galang Tribe (retuning players - orange buffs): Aras, Candice, Colton, Gervase, Kat, Laura M, Monica, Rupert, Tina, Tyson
Tadhana Tribe (loved ones - red buffs): Brad, Caleb, Ciera, Hayden, John, Katie, Laura B, Marissa, Rachel, Vytas

The big question is “Was he?” Or another case of preview misdirection?
I think after tonight the final five is pretty much set. But once again will 4 and 5 go quietly into the night or lead a revolt against 1, 2 and 3?
I don’t think it has registered in Vytas’s or Tina’s brain yet that 7 people voted against them last week. Tyson didn’t do it alone.
We will see if Aras is a prophet and a seer since last week he said that he wouldn’t be surprised if Vytas joined him this week on RI. He may get a two-fer with Tina and Vytas joining him.
Final Five - Tyson, Caleb, Monica, Ceire and Gervase?
Next goes Gervase - Then Ceire (Too many friends on the female side to take to final three)
Tyson at Final TC argues he’s the mastermind, Caleb was the goat and Monica was just following orders as the henchman?
The gross food challenge was just worms, grubs and cooked intestine. That’s mild from what they used to have. Can’t believe so many didn’t even try. They weren’t hungry in either sense. This game has turned into surviving only the social game. No one’s gone physically hungry and there’s been no weather to contend with. With so much time devoted to RI, there’s little time for the viewers to connect with the social interactions. Mark has lost sight of the game.
Vytas was blaming Aras for him being sent to RI. What a whiner. Aras wasn’t even around when he went off on everyone at tribal. Foot + Mouth = Boot. He cracked and couldn’t keep up his game plan.
One thing for sure:
They have to get rid of Katie and then make sure that none of those 4 return to make it to the final tribal as he/she would be pretty much guaranteed 3 votes and that might be the margin of victory right there.
I suspect that when it comes to the jury vote Tina-Vytas-Aras-Katie would vote as a block unless there are 3 there who are equally disdained by them like Tyson and Monica and Gervase.
The other thing I would look at if I were a single is to eliminate anyone from the final 3 who has a loved one voter/lobbyist on the jury — and that means Ciera.
“....The other thing I would look at if I were a single is to eliminate anyone from the final 3 who has a loved one voter/lobbyist on the jury and that means Ciera.....”
That is in line with my final 3 - Tyson, Caleb and Monica.
The final 5 should be Tyson, Gervase, Ceire, Caleb and Monisca. Tyson could go all the way with Gervase but has to wonder how much of a grudge will the jury have towards the Tyson/Gervase team since Tyson was the mastermind.
Immunity challenge winners: Monica, Katie
Kasama Tribe (merged tribe - purple buffs): Caleb, Ciera, Gervase, Hayden, Katie, Laura M, Monica, Tyson
Redemption Island: Aras, Tina, Vytas
Eliminated: Brad, Candice, Colton (quit), John, Kat, Laura B, Marissa, Rachel, Rupert
Hidden Immunity Idol status: Tyson found an idol. He hasn't told anyone about it.

As of Survivor: Nicaragua, this is a new Survivor ping list. The old list is no longer available, so I would appreciate it if any of you could ping interested parties to this thread. Thank you. :)
If you want added to or removed from this ping list, please let me know.
I think Tyson wants Gervase and Monica with him in the final 3. I think he knows he can win against them — perhaps not against the others.
When they get rid of Katie and Laura and get down to six it will get tense because Monica is not part of that alliance of 5.
Here is what may happen:
They may all agree at that point to vote Monica out which should be a no-brainer. But Tyson may then give Monica his immunity idol, thus nullifying any votes against her, and then join her with or without Gervase in voting one of the other 3 out.
Once they get past that vote Tyson-Monica-Gervase will have the numbers to take out the other two.
Sunday December 15th is the 2 hour finale and reunion.
That means 4 shows left with 4 more boots til that show.
There are 8 left in the game — 9 when RI is included — leaving 5 survivors going into Sunday 15th.
Latest Preview:
Tyson: “I need to get Ciera on board ...”
Really!!! The drama here appears to be contrived and much ado about nothing.
Back Splash challenge favors the women — those with shorter arms and lighter upper body weight.
Advantage goes to Monica. This is right up her alley.

I hope Survivor never does this again. I could develop serious health problems if I have to go through another season of hearing the term “loved ones” over and over.
Yep — I’ve learned to hate that term thanks to Survivor.
Tonight could be the worst episode ever as we are forced to sit through the melodrama of Ciera’s histrionics as she wrestles with her decision to vote out her mother — that is irrelevant anyway since there are plenty of other votes that would make the difference.
Cue the violins
Not a lot of love with Ciera wanting her mom out for weeks now.
Not looking good for Vytas.
Oh boy — they should have voted off Katie because though she doesn’t have the hii yet, by next week she may have found it.
Ciera — the way she played Katie — you gotta love that girl.
Sooooo — next week the young whippersnappers decide that they are going to try to outsmart the oldtimers and blindside Tyson.
I see a spanking coming as the oldtimers teach them a lesson and probably send the instigator Hayden into timeout.
BTW does anyone know if there are two hiis in play. The clue that Katie got is pretty explicit. It’s hard to believe that she hasn’t found it already — unless it’s the one that is already in Tyson’s pocket.
The clue sounded like the one John had ‘near the waterfall’, but there have always been multiple idols. Wouldn’t it be funny if Tyson kept thinking he had the one and only idol and another one was found?
Yeh I’m surprised that they would give her a clue to an idol that they know has already been dug up and is already in Tyson’s pocket — but they might have because the clue looked like it was pointing to the place where Tyson found his hii.
