Survivor: Blood vs. Water is the 27th season of Survivor. It begins Wednesday, September 18, 2013 on CBS at 8/7c with a special 90 minute episode.
Redemption Island returns, but with a twist: remaining players will be forced to choose whether to "save" their partner on Redemption Island and switch places with them, thus allowing their partner to immediately re-enter the game, or leave them in exile to survive on their own.
As with the last two seasons, this season takes place in the Philippines, but in a different location: Palaui Island, Cagayan.

That clip is very disturbing — dark forces are at play — Monica and Tyson meeting in the dark.
Tyson is getting a bunch of Irons in the fire.
The question becomes “Can he pull them out at the right time and in the proper order?”
Tyson’s definitely in the best position of anybody going into the merge.
He’s in with the newbies, and in with the original veteran alliance of Tina/Monica/Gervais/Aras.
It’s hard to believe that Aras does not know that Tyson is gunning for him.
The game really starts now —
Well, if Mark Burnett is continuing with his face time hints then Tyson’s days are numbered.
Looks like the challenge this week will be a cerebral Q&A that will favor the girls.
I think the pole hang also favors the girls — less weight to have to hold up and smaller feet that can fit into the crevice and girls have won this challenge against stronger male competitors in the past. I like Laura M’s chances there.

Aras/Vytas and Tina/Katie are a slam-dunk final four — but only if they have the good sense to realize the opportunity, keep their mouths shut, and play it right.
Which I doubt.

Final four vote would be a two - two tie.
Gotta’ be real careful on the final 5. One pair of two’s would try and turn the one to take out the other pair.
The problem is that couples have a natural target on their back whether they say anything or not and the numbers are against them by the singles 6 to 4.
If John re-enters the game it will then be 7 to 4.
And if it is Laura M coming back I suspect that Aras will be her #1 target due to her being backstabbed by him in spite of her superb backrubs.
They’ve been gunning for Aras for weeks now and it may be all over for him tonight.
There’s a joke in here about Seven of Nine but my creative juices aren’t flowing.

From what Probst says about being voted out or going back sounds like RI continues. I’m betting Laura M. returns to the game and Laura B. loses and is out of the game.
Last week, they wanted Aras out. Don’t know if they’ll follow through this week but if they had any sense they should be booting the pairs. The show starts in 8 minutes so see y’all later.

BTW only 9 of the 11 votes were read: 5 Aras 2 Ciera 2 Laura.
Somehow they know that Tyson was the 5th Aras vote but none of the players actually knows who Monica or Gervais actually voted for. We will find out who they voted for tomorrow but the players won’t.
So Monica and Gervais’s covers are still not completely blown though Gervais is assumed by all to be Tyson’s boy Friday.
After tonight Tyson and Gervais are the power players between Tina/Katie/Vytas/Monica on one side and Hayden/Caleb/Ciera/Laura on the other.
Next week I would target Tina.
Looks like all the strings on the spider web are leading back to Tyson.
Yep — he’s the top arachnid.
It’s hard to believe that it is the same Tyson who gave immunity away in an earlier season and played like a fool.
He has Gervais in his pocket and only a few know it.
And now he also has the HII in his pocket and nobody knows it.
He can now just play one side against the other and I don’t see where either side can do anything about it.
Getting rid of Aras last night was a major coup —
Now that the merge is complete time to get rid of any pairs that are left,especially if they are past winners. I agree Tina will probably be next.
