Vehicle shot on KC interstate
KANSAS CITY - Someone opened fire on a vehicle during the morning rush hour in Kansas City Friday.
It happened at westbound I-435 and Wornall around 7:50 am.
A pickup truck was hit when someone in another car opened fire. There were no reports of injuries. Police said another SUV initally thought to be involved was actually a witness.
"She was in the left lane, the victim was in the middle lane, the suspect in the right lane," says Detective Blake Rhodes. "All of a sudden she heard loud booms and didn't realize what was going on. She looked over and saw the victim ducking."
The victim was decribed as "very shaken up," especially because his 11-year-old daughter was with him.
Police are searching for a maroon colored sedan. The suspect driver is described as a black man wearing a colorful hat with a black female passenger.

I’ve been across that section of 435 a zillion times. It will make you crazy but I haven’t resorted to gun fire.
They might think it fine sport “polar bear huntin’” now, but even polar bears can only be pushed so far.
Then the fangs come out, and put to use with deadly efficiency.
But that’s what the administration wants, any excuse to declare martial law, suspend the constitution, and complete the wholesale destruction of our freedoms and our country.
