My question: Even if the ghetto/hood community stays relatively pure racially (at least in terms of recent ancestry), what will happen to the race card when the suburbs are full of these racial mutts who feel no white guilt because they have a significant fraction of ancestry from each disadvantaged group and see ghetto as a choice rather than as a legacy tied to skin color? I think the race card will fade away within 40 years, which is the best thing that could happen to those who use their skin tone as a perpetual excuse for failure.

Why what?

Didn’t you just explain that the girl was 3/4 white.

Genes pop out randomly it seems.

My father’s brother had a son.
My father’s sister had 3 children.

I saw my cousin’s, by my uncle, grandson the other day. Look exactly like my cousins, by my aunt, looked when they were children. This look must have come from the common ancestors which for this child were 4 generations back.

I know we were at war with the Government of North Vietnam at that time, but what about the citizenry? Even with the wall to wall jungle poverty (if that was the case, I wouldn’t know), was there anything the Vietnamese did better than we did in the states? Could we have learned something useful from these people? Such as healing with herbs or the drive to survive?

They seem to have largely blended in with our American culture, of course there are going to be exceptions. Some young people today of Viet ancestry may harbor a negative attitude toward the united states because of the battle we had to wage vs Communism. It’s not really so long ago. The majority appear, I said appear, ready to let go of bitterness, move on and thrive in the present day world.

All white as far as I'm concerned. If some distinctly Asian, it's a plus in some circles. ☺

What does any of this have to do with Gennady Golovkin (GGG) or prize fighting?

The worst thing that could happen to the African American community in its current incarnation would be the extinction of the white majority and their guilt complex. Whomever will take their place will certainly not give a rip about the ‘black experience’ in America.

The Samurai And The Ainu

Findings by American anthropologist C. Loring Brace, University of Michigan, will surely be controversial in race conscious Japan. The eye of the predicted storm will be the Ainu, a "racially different" group of some 18,000 people now living on the northern island of Hokkaido. Pure-blooded Ainu are easy to spot: they have lighter skin, more body hair, and higher-bridged noses than most Japanese. Most Japanese tend to look down on the Ainu.

Brace has studied the skeletons of about 1,100 Japanese, Ainu, and other Asian ethnic groups and has concluded that the revered samurai of Japan are actually descendants of the Ainu, not of the Yayoi from whom most modern Japanese are descended. In fact, Brace threw more fuel on the fire with:

"Dr. Brace said this interpretation also explains why the facial features of the Japanese ruling class are so often unlike those of typical modern Japanese. The Ainu-related samurai achieved such power and prestige in medieval Japan that they intermarried with royality and nobility, passing on Jomon-Ainu blood in the upper classes, while other Japanese were primarily descended from the Yoyoi." The reactions of Japanese scientists have been muted so. One Japanese anthropologist did say to Brace," I hope you are wrong."

The Ainu and their origin have always been rather mysterious, with some people claiming that the Ainu are really Caucasian or proto-Caucasian - in other words, "white." At present, Brace's study denies this interpretation.

I asked my driver who the round eye was.

You mean as opposed to the slant eye, the chink, the gook, the mama sahn?

My father had blue eyes, as did his parents and siblings

my mother had gray/green eyes and her family variations

My brother had blue eyes my older sister grey

However andother sister and I have dark brown eyes..

from where ???

Well my mother remembered she had an aunt or 2 with brown eyes the only ones amongst several lighter eye colored aunts and uncles..

we were “throw-backs”

My grey eyed sister married into a blue eyed family and had brown eyed children

and I married into a blue eyed family and had a blue eyed blonde boy and a brown eyed girl..

when my blue eyed boy was born someone declared that by the time he was 6 months old his eyes would turn brown as its impossible for a brown eyed person to have blue eyed off spring..

6 months came and went and those blue eyes did nt go anywhere..

We were reassigned to another base and someone at my new base argued with me that my flesh and blood son was not mine but the product of an earlier marriage my blue eyed husband and I was only his step mother..

I gave up trying to explain to the ijit..

that same boy is now 40 blue eyes and all..

and is the image of my father...

BTW his children are blue eyed blondes...
