My question: Even if the ghetto/hood community stays relatively pure racially (at least in terms of recent ancestry), what will happen to the race card when the suburbs are full of these racial mutts who feel no white guilt because they have a significant fraction of ancestry from each disadvantaged group and see ghetto as a choice rather than as a legacy tied to skin color? I think the race card will fade away within 40 years, which is the best thing that could happen to those who use their skin tone as a perpetual excuse for failure.
I am pure European-American and I feel no white guilt. My parents came over well after slavery ended, and had nothing to do with Jim Crow laws.
If any race pimp tells me I bear responsibility for all the stuff white folks did to blacks, I will laugh in his face and tell him that by the same logic, I should hold him responsible for the black guys who mugged me. I would have a stronger case, I think, because the racial grievance rhetoric the race pimps spew is a contributing factor for black-on-white crime.
We don't have to wait 40 years. We can end it tomorrow, from white folks simply deciding "enough".
For animosity and group hatred, don’t look for any less conflict when the races mix, as they will. As they used to say in the mines, “Don’t put a Mick to work the same stope as a Johnny Bull or you’ll have blood.” We’re intensely tribal creatures. Racial differences make the identification of the enemy tribe easier but as the Japanese and the Koreans illustrate, it’s secondary. Tutsis and Hutus are another example. Both get along better with whites than each other.
