Owwww... Just Owwww.. and lucky.
Col. Coopers gun safety rules:
1. All guns are always loaded. Even if they are not, treat them as if they are.
2. Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy. (For those who insist that this particular gun is unloaded, see Rule 1.)
3. Keep your finger off the trigger till your sights are on the target. This is the Golden Rule. Its violation is directly responsible for about 60 percent of inadvertent discharges.
4. Identify your target, and what is behind it. Never shoot at anything that you have not positively identified.
New law allows schools to teach gun safety to first-graders.
Beautiful segway! No bias here!
After you get your first bullet hole you get a lot more careful!
While the instructor was demonstrating a self-defence techniques, the gun went off.
No. Guns don't ever so-called "go off." They go "Bang!" when someonein this case a careless idiotpulls the trigger.
What on earth does this mean? Sorry, guys, the instructor needs to be fired.
Why wasn’t the instructor identified? He’s the one who fired the weapon.
Guns are like muslims. Always treat them as if they are loaded, and ready to explode and take your head off.
Live ammo in a classroom? The instructor is an idiot.
This instructor should get bad reviews on Angie’s list.
“Such classes are required for anyone wanting carry”
Oh, so this is a good thing? How about letting people exercise their 2nd amendment freedoms without “requiring” anything?
By the way, get rid of that moron “instructor” before he kills somebody in his “class”.
That did not help however.
Always keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot Always keep the gun unloaded until ready to use Guns don;t go off !
The instructor pulled the trigger of his loaded gun.
I'm sure he knew that all guns are always loaded.NRA Gun Safety Rules will keep you safer :
Always keep the gun pointed in a safe direction
So, is this the new safety technique? We show you exactly, right in front of your eyes, how easy it is to get shot by someone who has failed to follow basic gun safety instruction. Any questions? Yes, you in the front row with the blood coming out of your arm?
Never had an accidental discharge myself, but have seen some at the local range.
That's why some buddies and myself built our own shooting range, too many *cowboys* out there.
...and that concludes this demonstration on how NOT to safely handle a firearm.
No excuse. Should know the rules.
Automatic F!
Piemonte said the instructor has been calling him regularly to check in.
“It makes me feel good that he is so concerned,” he said.
There is absolutely no excuse for this incident. If there is a need to demonstrate “a self-defence techniques” it would be appropriate to use a solid rubber training aid.
The instructor is concerned because he doesn’t want to get sued and/or stomped into a pulp.
