Who saw the first episode of the last season of Breaking Bad last night?
Is this the most awesome show ever on TV or what?
The acting is first rate all around.
When Hank punches Walt it looks like he is going to go all out right then and there, but as Walt circles back around him and stares Hank down at the end, it shows he is clearly in charge of the situation
My recommendation to you is to NOT click on any thread about Breaking Bad if you don’t want to be spoiled about episodes you haven’t watched yet. That is your responsibility, not ours.
“What happens is Walter declares himself a Democrat and all is forgiven, he is free to go.”
And is elected Mayor of a major US city. I saw it too..
I remember that.
One of the best series finales ever.
I thought one poignant part of the show was after Hank did a beat down on Walt...Hank looked at Walt and said, “I don’t know who I’m talking to”...Walt said a little menacing... “If you don’t know who I am then maybe you should tread carefully”
Hank already knows the true power Walt has just by all the research he’s been doing and I’m looking forward to next episode to see if Hank starts to back off out of fear what Walt might do to him and his family.
He won’t turn Hank but I think he will join forces with him again in order to get his previous business associates off his back.
“hey had a Talking Bad show after Breaking Bad and the head writer was on it. His only hint was the woman whod been shipping the meth to Czechoslovakia wasnt going away.
“
Yes she is. That is who the ricin is for.
The reaction of the neighbor was like she saw someone back from the dead. Maybe Walt somehow fakes his own death.
In this show, anything can happen. Anything. And it is all believable. That's what makes this show so amazing: all of it could totally have happened in real life. There is very little need for the willing suspension of disbelief.
I had meth freak neighbors once - it was horrifying.
IMO, anyone who’s been exposed to real meth freaks could not have any interest in this show.
Meth is truly evil - it is Every Bad Thing. “Enjoying” a show about meth is like “enjoying” a show about Aushwitz.
The Sopranos wasn’t hideous enough - now you’ve got Breaking Bad, and you suck it up and feed your soul on its filth.
But hey, enjoy yourselves. Then go back to posting about conservative values on Free Republic, and wondering why things keep getting worse in America.
“Walt circles back around him and stares Hank down at the end, it shows he is clearly in charge of the situation”
We thought that Hank suddenly realized how many casualties are due to “Heisenberg”, and he figured he could easily become another one.
Yes. We need a Breaking Bad thread!
geez, dude...chill
it’s a TV show and it is remarkably well written and made
It does not glorify the topic at all, in fact it is shows clearly some of the more horrifying aspects of this lifestyle and the people in it
No one watching this would think “hey, I’d like to do that and be cool like walt”
And there are some heroes- Hank is amazing
yeah- you just reminded me of the cars- At eh foreshadowing scene he was driving a beat up old Cadillac, I think- that was a different car for him and I didn’t notice the plates
Skyler is smokin’ hot!
Hank is screwed. Who in law enforcement would believe that he had no idea that his brother-in-law just happened to be Heisenberg?
Maybe you should move to Saudi Arabia or North Korea so you’d feel more comfortable. With your logic we’d have to ban half the Bible and most of Shakespeare.
If they believe he had nothing to do with it or not, his career would never recover, right? In-laws that he sees all the time at family functions, not to mention pals around with on the job fairly regularly. Even if he didn’t really suspect anything they would think he was an unobservant stiff.
Freegards
“I suspect it will be Jesse.”
-
I’ve felt that way since Sunday night’s episode.
Jesse is an emotional wreck and has nothing to lose by killing Walt.
.
And, if he turns in Walt, then Skyler will do time also - Hank now knows that she knows because the entire "gambing addiction" story was obvious b.s. There will be no living with his klepto wife if Hank is responsible for sending her sister up the river.
