Savage took a brief respite from discussing deli meats and meatball recipes Wednesday to address the important issues of the day…
Democrat bad! Republican good! All Rush Limbaugh does day in and day out.
…
Water-carriers! Frauds!
How long you been saying that Ray? You're becomming a boring broken record.........
Just can't keep yourself from turning him on can you?
Amen to that. Lord knows it happens to me enough.
Didn't have to. Savage is on at a different time.
As long as he does it I'll say it.
Just can't keep yourself from turning him on can you?
Yeah, I keep hoping, during my lunch hour, that I'll hear something revealing and intelligent. Sometimes he does. Today was boring as hell.
Savage needs some Aricept.
Michael Savage is a worthless POS. Who even listens to the guy?
One reason was because a safety wasn’t on, that is on a gun without a ‘safety.’
Meaning he was talking out his rear but wanted to sound oh so intelligent on the subject. Which he didn’t.
I hate to admit that, but you are right. And he is the only one I can stomach. Beck is a big talk over each other fest, Hannity read bullet points, Savage talks about himself more than anything, and Rush is getting that way.
Maybe it’s time to let some new blood in the conservative talk show biz?
Now that you mention it, that was about the time he started changing.
Maybe he gets his self esteem from his new beauty queen.
2 if by Tea is his new wife’s baby. She is an entrepreneur (with massive money -his- backing it, free advertising to a large market that likes him, etc... She is essentially ‘Lovey” from Gilligan’s Island with a corporation under her name.
Savage was long ago —and I mean this literally— the gatekeeper of the compound of early psychotropic drug activist and degenerate Timothy O’Leary. He also was close friends with Allen Ginsberg, who openly wrote of sex with little boys.
Savage once wrote in a letter of his desire to stick something up the rectum of Ginsberg.
Pretty incredible, huh? Lots of stuff on the ‘net DOES get made up, and that is a pretty amazing claim, so I do encourage you to double-check that, though you will confirm the veracity of the amazing thing I just wrote.
Manipulated and maligned by his UC Berkeley profs, Savage later proved to be quite as hostile to his own later charges; the daughter of KGO host Jim Eason was his producer, and Savage often abused her.
Savage also did that on air to his OWN WIFE, who also served for a time as his call-screener and producer in the SF Bay Area local market.
Savage was blessed with a great family which he does not deserve, though he is truly a gifted story-teller and amazing humorist. His instincts for “what works” in radio are sharper and more sophisticated than Aegis warship missile defense.
He is a quick-witted, outspoken alcoholic manic-depressive who laments being stabbed in the back, and who then USUALLY stabs in the back MOST of the people close to him, usually with great relish and gusto.
He has a sharp memory, fantastic reasoning and is a colossal hypocrite who is trying with no small success to replicate Alex Jones’ brilliant, “both side against the middle” radio strategy.
His aim is to garner listeners both conservative and liberal, old and also young.
My prediction is that he will SUCCEED, lose his soul, and later may well finish by killing himself, though I do not wish that upon him, despite my obvious misgivings.
—> Basically Savage is a brilliant, rotten hypocrite who is politically unreliable. <—
I still like Rush and so what if he veers off the beaten path once in a while? Seriously, I can’t take 24/7 politics all the time. Yes, he does have an ego, but all of them do. Rush makes jokes about it.
I have also noticed that since his marriage, he has watered down his show rhetoric somewhat. However, he was excellent on Greta.
None of us know what goes on behind the scenes, so its easy to be Monday morning quarterbacks. I don’t listen to Rush for the entire 3 hours, but do go to his website later in the day to get the gist of the show. Sometimes its good - sometimes it isn’t.
I could take Hannity’s show better if he would stop putting libs on to argue with conservatives. I don’t need to hear their lies and distortions. If I wanted to hear them, I would tune in to their outlets. He calls it a debate and I call it a nuisance when they just talk over each other. Maybe he hopes to have libs tune in and think he is fair and balanced, but I assume, just like me - they only want to hear what their side has to say.
Levin does.
Thank you. I’ve thought the same, unless its for artistic or show biz reasons. But then Ive had friends who changed their names, so there are exceptions. In the old Hollywood studio days, I think that you g stars often had names chosen for them and didn’t get a lot of say in the matter.
Actually it seems that this marriage may actually be working. I had misgivings because of the huge age difference. But in a much younger woman I think he may have actually found what he was looking for. On e on the show, he said that hed formed ideas a out women and marriage by watching old movies like Best Years of Our Lives. Then he was disappointed when he discovered women were t really like that. Supportive an nurturing I think he means.
BTW, Rush hasn’t been fat for years, has he? I think he finally found a diet that works.
I have long suspected that he’s one of those Nanny Diaries-Devil Wears Prada type bosses. He probably makes them sign something promising not to write or talk about him publicly.
