Good Morning, ML.
(((HUGS)))
Thank God ...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
... the words that are especially difficult are to “love our enemies”, “pray for those that spitefully use you”, and “turn the other cheek”, “bless those that curse you”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Often Simply turning away is the best I can do. Maybe I can bless them later.
(((((((HUGS))))))
I have to go to work soon. See you all later! :-)
I chose an American flag shirt today, it also has 2 nails as a Cross, I get to honor our Military and promote my faith, a real winner.
AMEN, Gail. Interesting shirt to honor our Military and promote your faith also. Where in the world did you discover a shirt like that? Great find! Hope you’re having a wonderful day. ((((HUGS))))
Today is Friday and I sure hope you got to go home to Ohio, Dolly. Hope that ankle is feeling better and healing fast. Take it gently on the ankle and feel better soon! (((HUGS)))

After diminutive Olympic athlete Gabby Douglas captured two gold medals in the 2012 London Games, she made this proclamation: God will never fail you. Hes always on your side.
Sometimes this kind of statement by an athlete can be misunderstood. It can be taken to mean that if Im competing against you in a sports contest and I have Gods help, there is no way I can lose. But if we turn to Psalm 118:5-6, we get the true picture of what this line means. The psalmist wrote, I called on the Lord in distress; the Lord answered me and set me in a broad place. The Lord is on my side; I will not fear.
Another version translates verse 6 as the Lord is with me (niv). Its the idea that when trouble comes into our lives, God, who is full of mercy and love (which endures forever, v.4) will always be attentive to us and provide the protection we need.
We dont have to be an Olympic champion to appreciate this kind of divine attention. This is what we need when the economy falters and our finances cant keep up. Its what we need when a relationship we cherished falls apart. No matter what our situation, as Christ-followers we know where to find help. The Lord is on my side.
Read: Psalm 118:1-6
JUST WOW!
Do you have one of these, Gail?
I went back and checked posts and you do have one of these shirts! Good for you!
Yep, they had a large stack, most in dark colors, I’ve got plenty of those, I actually found in the kids dept at wallyworld 4 different T’s with Bible stuff on them. Got 2, a hot blue and pink, the pink says Amazing Grace how sweet the sound. I can now fit in a girls Lg or xlg depending on maker.
I noticed on the web site they are down to under $5 now.
Great encouragement for us all....
Thanks Russ for daily taking the time to post these words of wisdom.
.... oh Gail. LOVE that shirt. Going to that website un-pronto!!

Thank you for that lovely church and village. So pretty! Happy Sunday to you and all our FRiends here on Amy’s Place.
Good Sunday morning, jaycee..Thank you!
The birds are singing brightly.
I woke up early!
I’ve been up quite a while, too. Finished my 2nd cup of coffee. Need some breakfast but I have to fix it when I get to going better. Cereal would be easy but I’d prefer some scrambled eggs and toast and jelly.
Looks like a lovely day in store today. I almost feel like I could lay back down....LOL! Coffee is supposed to pep us up but I don’t find that to be true! Of course, I love my coffee in the morning.
Wishing you and everyone a beautiful and peaceful Sunday!!
I had a Cinnamon Roll earlier..I will probably eat an early lunch..and crash for a nap.
;o)
