He seemed to have natural talent but didn’t let it go to his head. Good for him. Getting a Barry Goldwater Scholarship from Obama is ironic.
I don’t know.
I’m not a big fan but Julia Roberts was sure hot as Tinkerbell.
I know- Barry Goldwater from Obama.
I am sorry I didn’t know haw to better type in the main title?? and body of post. This is only my 2nd or third time to start a post.
Thanks for putting that up. I also Loved this kid in What About Bob?...one of my family’s all time favorites.
Really? I didn’t know that was her, she was so small...
The post is kind of short but otherwise you are doing alright.
MIT is graded on 5.0 system, so 4.0 is a B average.

Nevertheless, it is very impressive that this individual has achieved true success in Hollywood after the illusion of success at MIT.
I remember talking to a guy who was working for Industrial Light and Magic when ILM was doing special effects for that film. He had spent the day hiding the wires that were used in flight scenes. I thought it sounded fascinating, but he seemed just a bit bored with the work.
In your list of the cast for “Hook”, you might notice an uncredited bit role for Lonnie Burr as “Pegleg”. Those of us who are between the ages of 63 and, oh..say, 73..might remember Lonnie Burr, for Lonnie was one of the 39 qoriginal Mouseketeers on The Mickey Mouse Club, which was broadcast on ABC from 1955 to 1958. Lonnie was one of the nine primary Mouseketeers to be on the program for all three years.
Lonnie was also on the very first episode of The Roy Rogers Show, and also appeared in an episode of The Lone Ranger. He made these appearances 3-4 years before The Mickey Mouse Club started in 1955. Lonnie recently celebrated his 70th birthday. All of the original Mouseketeers are now in thier 70’s, yes; a few have passed away, (Cheryl Holdridge, Don Grady, and Annette Funicello) but most of them are well, and doing fine.
Not a fan of hook. More like an excuse to make a movie Robin Williams can do his manic Ad Lib in.
Dustin Hoffman did nothing I liked after little big man. (And of course the Graduate)
Always like most things Bob Hoskins has done He played the ultimate Nikita Kruschov in Enemy At The Gate.
RE: “...but Julia Roberts was sure hot as Tinkerbell.”
It was the wings and green tights that got you, right...? Hahah!
Actually the scene I remember is when she becomes normal sized for some reason I don’t recall, and is wearing a dress.
