Wow! I never realized Prince could play a guitar like ringing a bell! His rifts were super smokin’!
Thanks for that post, a much, much better version of than George Harrison’s original ditty.
I must say, I’m surprised to see iut work, but it does, doesn’t it. And Prince clearly steals the show and knows it! Punk!
Pretty close to the original nad very, very good.
BTW, his son looks just like him as a young man.
Prince is an amazing musician and performer. Probably the best around.
Prince, once again, shows his prowess as a guitar gun-slinger. Very cool.
While never giving up his “urban-black upbringing”, he continues to move guitar rock-and-roll forward. He gives quarter to urban hip-hop as valid entertainment but remains true to his roots by choking that stratocaster until it screams!
But Prince is really amazing in that.
I'm reminded that it was while Eric Clapton was at Harrisons house teaching George how to play this song that Eric fell in love with George's wife, Patty.
Eric wrote the song Layla about Patty.
George wrote 'Something' about Patty.
Eric goes on to marry Patty while Patty's sister marries Mic Fleetwood but divorces Mic when she discovers Mic with Stevie Nicks.
Anyway.....
I stopped in one day, and the doc toured me through his dental rooms - one of which had two of Harrison's guitars, all nicely autographed, accompanied by verifying photos.
BTW....Eric Clapton later married George’s wife, the former Patty Boyd.
Wait, what happened after that? Don’t keep us salivating for the rest of the sweet melodrama! What do we have, after all, Danielle Steel and Barbara Cartland?!
I have to agree with you on the Prince comment. Couldn’t figure out which one was Dhani Harrison, though.

Prince
Many, very talented musicians on that stage. Prince definitely knows how to play well, he is in top form here (and in mostly normal clothing)!
Nailed it!!
as long as Moody Blues arent elected to rock n roll hall i could give a crap less.
My beer drinking, partying buds of my youth would disown me for saying so, but Prince is the real deal as a musician, performer and composer in our era. His is that rare, combined, all in one sort of talent that he’s clearly worked hard to realize. That’s as much as I want to know.
