I think Obama has been out and about for the last days setting the stage for the introduction of “reparations” and also for national standards that will require the placement of black people in positions where he considers them under-represented, regardless of their absence of qualifications, and possibly even for the requirement that a certain percentage of the candidates for any office be black.
To me, that’s the only thing he could possibly be angling for; blacks are already 99% behind him, no matter what he does, and he is extorting a lot of breaks from the non-black citizenry by implying that only he can prevent rioting and social break-down. He’s disappointed that blacks, who appear to be more sensible than he thought, aren’t doing this, and he’s trying to stir it up.
But the purpose of that is to create a climate where he can make permanent changes that will ensure either his permanence in power or that of the Democratic party and their black power-brokers.

For 20 years I lived in a very wealthy,very desirable,very white and very “progressive” suburb of Boston (but make no mistake,*I* am not even *slightly* wealthy or “progressive”).For years Massachusetts has had Marxist laws requiring “affordable housing” in *every* neighborhood in the state.Well,not long before I moved out of the town a proposal for just such a development was made for some vacant land near me.Long story short...the residents of that area went *ballistic* when it was announced.”Think of the traffic!” “Think of the children!” “Think of the environmental damage!” were the refrains.Of course the *real* reason for the opposition remained unspoken.
They will probably give incentives to landlords with properties in nice areas, to convert to Section . 8 Housing.
Unfortunately, if you get too many section 8 in an area, then that neighborhood starts to go ghetto..

Section 8’s are really bad, but rentals in general will blight a neighborhood.
Assigned housing, how quaint. Will he be erecting razor wire around the neighborhoods to keep us from moving?
