I'm sure those of you following the Zimmerman trial have some favorite moments of your own, and I thought it might be nice to have a thread for us to share and reflect back on the trial. So I'll kick this off by listing some of my favorites, and I'll be looking forward to hearing about some of yours.
Here's mine:
1) Naturally, hearing the words "Not Guilty"
2) Don West refusing to shake hands.
3) Cracking up over Dr. Bao (I haven't laughed that hard in years).
4) Detective Serino saying he believed Zimmerman.
5) Just, generally, being in awe of Mark O'Mara (I can't pin down one exact thing here, so I'll leave that to you).
6) Prosecution (stupidly) asking the use of force expert what other choices Zimmerman had, to which he confidently responded "None".
I liked when the prosecution called Jonathon Good as a witness, and then Good completely destroyed the prosecution’s case by testifying he saw Martin on top of Zimmerman raining blows. Genius call by the prosecution.
Black witness that said “Hi George”
Wouldn’t say it was my favorite, but it had a huge impact. Had to be burned in the minds of both the jury and anyone else watching.
The reaction of the mainstream media when they realized the prosecution witnesses, one after the other, were actually testifying FOR GEORGE.
I think the best part of that moment was when the camera panned past the judge and she was sitting there with her mouth hanging open.
“I believe in this case nobody can, nobody know Trayvon Martin’s autopsy more than I do.”
“Except for one thing: You can’t remember anything about it.”
“Yes. Everything is based on my notes.”

I must admit, I am now suffering from “Zimmerman Trial Withdrawal Syndrome”...

BTW, I would like to thank God for the tropical, constant, rainy flooding I have been experiencing here in FL.
The “Disadvantage Youts” stay indoors in this kind of weather, so it’s been very quiet around here.
I must further add, the testimony of Zimmerman’s Uncle and the Viet Nam Medic.
Hollywood could not do better than this.

When asked by the prosecution how she knew that was GZ screaming on the tape, his mother answered “Because he’s my son” This had a profound affect.

I didn’t watch the trial. Also let me confess my ignorance about George Patton. Can you explain that moment, please? Thanks.
