Zimmerman Trial Judge Springs "Child Abuse" Charge against Zimmerman for Tougher Sentence
Fox News Channel (no link) | 7/11/13

Watching Fox News Channel coverage of Zimmerman trial. Judge has just sprung another surprise against Zimmerman, saying jury can consider Martin's death as child abuse so jury can convict based upon that, too, and perhaps convict him of voluntary manslaughter. This trial is a travesty.

This is not about Zimmerman. It is about the animals now wanting a shooting war, as total and with as little delay as possible.

That is PRECISELY what is going on here, behind the scenes. Ask yourself? WHo has the motivation to do it? And who has the will to do it?

Then you get your answer about Atty Gen. or somebody out of the White House really reaming these people good down in Florida to "toe the line", Sieg Heil!

So a judge in Florida can arbitrarily decide to charge a defendant in the middle of a trial?

If someone did that to me,I’d certainly shoot them too.As would most folks here.George’s bid mistake was letting Martin get in too close.

If, in our crazed, rigged world, they ruled Ft. Hood as WORKPLACE VIOLENCE (sic), they can certainly rule the Death of St. Trayvon as CHILD ABUSE (sic).

Has anyone other than myself seen the picture of a 17 year-old Martin? I have tried to post it, but it won’t copy. He’s tattooed and is 6 ft.2 in. and 180 lbs.

When this circus is over, win or lose, this judge is ripe to be massively prosecuted for blatant corruption. NO JUDGE is in the position to side with and help the prosecution - EVER!!!

That's all they ever do, this kabuki theater is not far from the norm

A little clarification. The judge did not come up with this all on her own. The prosecution requested it;

SANFORD, Fla. — State prosecutors are asking the judge in the Trayvon Martin murder case to instruct the jury to consider lesser charges — manslaughter and aggravated assault — when they begin deliberations Friday. The ruling came after the prosecution sought to include two lesser charges from the original murder in the second degree: manslaughter and felony murder in the third degree with child abuse as the underlying felony.

Honestly as appalling as this is I’ve seen similarly ridiculous anti-constitutional miscarriages multiple times.
White woman shoved down a flight of stairs and beaten when she hobbled to an elevator by black BOE security guards (who said “this is what you get for voting for Bush”) and while they have no arrest authority she was jailed and convicted of “resisting arrest” - even though they did not arrest, have no arrest authority, was the assault victim, did not fight back AND despite a black officer who was not the main cop who took her in claiming otherwise... the reports from the night of the arrest impeached his lies stating the woman had been sitting quietly with her purse on her lap Jury convicted her of “resisting arrest” one of the extra charges thrown in because they could not propve that the victim assaulted the guards (though she had many defensive bruises)

She is intentionally trying to force a mistrial in order to give the prosecution a second shot at trying Zimmerman after they screwed this one up so bad.

This is going to increase Americas outrage at the rail roading of an in in ocent man using the full force of the Obama DOJ and the State of Florida.

These corrupt scum bags need to realize how badly and how unjustly they have over reached.

After this trial, they may need to be more concerned with mainstream America breaking out the Tar and Feathers and selecting an unusually narrow and uncomfortable rail and especially bumpy road ride them out of town on than they are of having some gang bangers from the hood rioting

Your question as to elective or appointed is very interesting perhaps even crucial to Zimmerman’s defense. The public can see this judge is probably a ‘women’s rights’ lawyer/judge by one or the other routes. I have seen too many of these easy come law students/lawyers. I hope this woman becomes a poster example of to what our judicial system has been degraded.

Just watched a report on FNC. Defense attorney said the prosecution added this charge, not the judge. The judge has to consider whether it is appropriate to add this to her charge to the jury. According to the defense attorney, he just received notice of the new proposed charge at 7:00 am this morning, so the prosecution may be a bit too late. It will be up to the judge to decide and the attorneys are still arguing the matter.

Apparently, this charge has been requested to bolster a charge against Zimmerman. As of now, he could be convicted of second degree murder, manslaughter, or third degree felony murder. The child abuse charge is meant to support the possible third degree murder charge.

This judge knew this stuff was all coming — she and the state sandbagged the defense.

I wonder if O’Mara is having second thoughts about his presser last night — about “preserving the memory of Trayvon Martin” at the potential cost to his client.

She’s obviously drawing on precedent set in the Castro vs. People of Cuba case.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the court (judge) allowes the jury to consider parking violations in this case. What one sided Kangaroo show trial this is. The prosecution couldn’t get the witnesses or testimony they wanted but they sure as hell got the judge they wanted.
