A victim told the deputy that she was taking her daughter to the bathroom when they saw a man in the toilet looking up at him.
Hey buddy, do you have a match?

When I was a kid, a guy snuck down a crapper at a state park. A lady went in there, and saw the red light from the guy’s camcorder. He got busted, and the cop car that they took him away in had to be scrapped. I remember reading this in the local paper, because it happened about one (small) town over.

he fell through the floor of an outhouse and died in the septic tank (true story). When we lived in East Africa, every 6 months or so there would be a story in the newspapers of a "choo" (latrine) falling through and dumping some unfortunate soul to a "fate worst than death". If he didn't have true friends who would pull him out, his fate often WAS death.

Leave him there and pump the septic tank. Problem solved.

My mom used to work with a woman from the Philippines who used to tell the story of, as children, hiding in the bottom of outdoor toilets (in the waste) to escape the Japanese. Can you imagine? Horrors.

What a foul life he leads. His reputation stinks. His self esteem is lower than a dumpster diver’s. His pickup line reeks. The guys at the jail now call him Old Face-Full.

Maybe a small percentage of the population has always been that way, and we just hear about them more often.
1 in 10M means in 1950 there were maybe 15 of these guys, and no Internet; and the locals just pounded the crap out of them, and kept it somewhat quiet.
Now, there'd be 30-35 of them, with cable news, iPhones, Twitter, Internet, etc.; and the fire dept washes the crap off of them, and the cops make it a public record.
Twice as many, and much better instant communications, and very public police/fire involvement.

When I saw “Keystone Fire Dept”, I was afraid it was going to be near Mount RUshmore.

Outhouses are different from toilets. No, there is no trap and, yes, they do stink.

Its hard to imagine what kind of impulse drives someone to that level of personal debasement. Sometimes that level of personal debasement goes on parade and demands that the government and corporations celebrate it as a lifestyle.
