I don't know everything about Keyes’ campaign, but I watched his debate with Barack Hussein Obama. Alan Keyes wiped the floor with Barry. He destroyed him factually, morally, and ethically. It did not matter, not to the takers who masquerade as citizens in Illinois, not to a corrupt and scheming media, and not to the body politic. I am convinced that Barry Sotero is in power today because Lucifer put him there. The Bible says we fight not flesh and blood, but principalities. America has fallen for the deception that there is no Truth, the deception that “rationality” explains away God, and that perversions and horrible sins are only choices to be made. Satan chose Barry, but God judges both of them.

Keyes’ biggest problem is he was a carpetbagger who had no business being in the campaign in the first place. Add a state party that was in complete disarray at the time, having pushed for a guy that had huge secrets that would eventually destroy his career, and that Keyes has no mass appeal at all and often sounds like he’s talking down to people and you wind up with a candidate getting 27% of the vote. Although truthfully that’s one of his better showings, for a professional candidate he’s surprisingly bad at getting people to vote for him.

The divorce records were sealed. By definition, IMHO, that means there was dirt to be found in them. Even someone of 0bama’s intellect would be able to figure that out.

1a. Considering the amount of time that has passed, it is probably a safe assumption that the NSA has been subverted also.

Hoover had a lot in his personal life that he wanted to keep hidden, so his files were an "insurance policy" so that he could keep his job.

Really, how many civil servants are still on the job at 77?

And no, he was not a drag queen. Gay? Maybe. Asexual? That's my guess.

But Hoover had the dignity to order that all of his files be burned upon his death.

As curious as I am about what he kept in his private stash, I think it was for the better.

Ryan’s wife told the Trib and ABC. They went after the records with a vengeance a la every liberal media outlet. They got a judge to ‘unseal’ sealed public records as it was in the public interest.

Once the he said, she said stories broke, none of which were particularly damning given their angry divorce people stayed home and... we got Obama.

So the lesson is?

Actually it was RFK that carpetbagged to New York. They were both more effective at getting people to vote for them than Keyes, Keyes has never topped 40% of the vote. Had Ryan stuck it out he might have won, sex scandals aren’t nearly as big a deal as they used to be, but he didn’t stick it out. Of course one should remember he’d come from finance not politics, maybe he just didn’t want to deal with the world of mud, or maybe it was a stunt in the first place (ala Caine’s presidential run).

I don’t get into metaphysics, I only discuss the physical world. And in the physical world Keyes has never come close to winning any election, as soon as he became “the guy” to oppose Obama for the Illinois senate seat Obama functionally won.
