Six billion tonnes of water may have been dumped into the ocean all at once after an underground Antarctic lake overtopped, causing the ice sheet above it to slump into a giant 260 square-kilometre crater.

I hope Guam doesn’t tip over!
"So God let these people go their own way. They did what they wanted to do, and their filthy thoughts made them do shameful things with their bodies. They gave up the truth about God for a lie, and they worshiped Gods creation instead of God, who will be praised forever. Amen.
Romans 1: 24-25
If this is true, why am I limited to 1.6 gallon flushes?
That should help cool things a bit.
It didn’t vanish. Humans just didn’t see it moving out, and were bewildered.
Nature doesn’t follow human rules.
An alternate theory that is more credible is that man made global warming caused the body of water to come to a boil, the steam crept through the pores in the ice sheet and evaporated into outer space. The ultraviolet light from the sun going through the hole in the ozone layer enhanced the gravitational forces over ice sheet causing it to slump into the pit where the water was.
Okay...we are done. Don't much care who else posts funny on this thread...that right there is hard funny to beat.
strange things happening in Antarctic lakes
Boiled over?.... those darned Africanas must’ve used AC, or lived in a house and drove an automobile, just like he warned us.
Well, maybe they can use that water when Africa’s getting cars and ac causes the world to boil over, as Obamugabe has warned.

Precisely. obama already has the NSA’s vast resources monitoring the Africans. The CIA has covertly converted most AC’s over there to bug zappers, the instant the AC is turned on they are turned to dust.

Green-skinned reptilians from Planet Zork scooped it up in their flying saucers and flying teacups, and took it all away.
Bush’s fault.
Sounds plausible. Here’s $10 million in tax payer money to study this further and come up with recommendations for draconian new laws and taxes to prevent this from ever happening again.
I think it is less than that here in commifornica! Down to 1.2 gallons.
