Paris Jackson: Facebook Destroyed Her
TMZ ^ | 6/26/2013

Posted on 06/26/2013 11:51:04 AM PDT by iowamark

Paris Jackson's deep depression has been largely the result of bullying ... and Facebook has been hosting the haters.

Sources closely connected to Paris tell TMZ ... the 15-year-old has been reeling from comments left on her Facebook page --- many about Michael Jackson and his lifestyle. Some of the comments involve the various molestation allegations ... others involve the odd life Paris lived while Michael was alive.

We're told Paris has taken the comments very personally ... and one source says, "They destroyed her." The source adds, there's a nexus between the bullying and her penchant for cutting.

Now here's the problem. Paris does not have access to her Facebook page while she's in the psych ward at UCLA Medical Center. But her family is deeply concerned that she'll backslide if she goes back on Facebook when she gets out.

The family is extremely frustrated, because they've tried to shut down Paris' Facebook page, but they can't --- Facebook's policy is that the family of a user has no right to shut down an account if the user is 13 years of age or older.

Paris' family believes Facebook could create yet another tragedy in the Jackson family, but they're powerless to do anything about it.

I don’t care what anyone says, there is no way that alabaster skinned, blonde haired, blue eyed Parisand (and sibblings) is MJ’s daughter.
Looks more like the chauffeur, if you ask me.

This money grubbing lawsuit probably hasn’t helped either.

What sort of person would elect to spend their own free time annoying Paris Jackson?

Sociopaths. They get pleasure from causing other people pain. They used to have limitations on how much pain they could cause because people used to have “waking hours” and times when they were not available. Now, with the Internet, sociopaths can have alot of fun damaging people for sport 24 hours a day. Some gather in sociopathic online communities and brag of the damage they do and give it a rating (lulz) so to speak so they can compete with others damaging innocent people. FOr example, they log onto remembrance pages made available to the public for the purpose of leaving a comment for a bereaved family regarding their loved one who died. For example, high-value lulz would include the subhuman individuals who logged onto a remembrance site for a teen who committed suicide and wrote things like “It’s just as well he died, everyone hated him anyway.” Then - those paramecium go back to the online community and provide links so their competitors can evaluate the lulz ‘earned’ etc. Sociopaths used to be 4% of the population but I fear it is growing rapidly.

I even remember when they announced that MJ was a “Father”, my first thought was “those kids are so screwed.”

The easier it is to communicate with people the easier it is to be a jackass to people. Used to be if you wanted to hang out with your friends and say bad things about celebrities the most public you’d get with it is having the discussion in a bar, maybe a dozen people hear you talk, and said celebrities never find out about it. Now you post it on your FB wall, or Twitter, or even their wall, and millions, including the target of your derision, hear it. As always the problem isn’t with the tool, it’s with the people using it.

She seems like she could be an okay kid. If she were five years older I’d try to match her up with Ben Jr.

God help this innocent girl. There aren’t going to be many on this earth who can understand what she’s gone through, and is going through. I hope she gets every bit of support she can get from kind souls out there.

Jerry Springer is only on for an hour, as are the Kardashians. That leaves 22 for sleeping, drinking, smoking grass, and annoying Ms. Jackson.

I am deeply sympathetic to this poor child — and she is a child. Her existence was commissioned by freaky Michael Jackson, who used donor sperm and paid the girl's biomom to go away. She was raised without a mother or a real — meaning masculine — father in about the strangest environment you could imagine. I don't think we should criticize her when she is so obviously and understandably suffering.

I don't know what you found to be so unsympathetic or critical in my post.

The girl is obviously very disturbed by posts being made on her facebook page. The simplest and most effective approach to solve that problem is to take the page down. Since her family can't do that for her, it's up to her to take the page down herself.

I didn't think you were being unsympathetic, just that you were expecting rational behavior from someone I suspect is not capable of behaving rationally, e.g., by taking down her facebook page. I think she's too disturbed to understand that she must do that, or to be disciplined enough to do that. Her upbringing is one of the freakiest I've ever read about.

That's the point where the parent/guardian needs to step in to ensure that the rational actions are taken, regardless whether she wants them to be taken or not. Parents doing this sort of thing used to be the norm, apparently not so much nowadays.

Her upbringing is one of the freakiest I've ever read about.

I couldn't agree with you more on that point. No question whatsoever about that in my mind.
