Marshall University Journalism Professor Christopher Swindell, who wrote in a recent commentary that the National Rifle Association (NRA) was guilty of treason and worthy of the firing squad, is apologizing for his remarks, telling CNSNews.com on Monday that he was waaayyy too angry to comment on gun safety and that he had learned that American freedom is best served with an armed populace.
In a May 30 commentary published in The Charleston Gazette, Swindell had harshly criticized the NRA and expressed disappointment in Congress failure to pass some form of expanded background check legislation.

I wonder if he had his job threatened or something.
Maybe he got audited.
CNSNews published his apology, and then lest anyone forget his anti-American position, republished six paragraphs of everything he said against the NRA.
In light of some of the comments IRT the Charleston, WV article online, I think this a-hole realized quite clearly that if the balloon does go up, he’ll be a target.
He likely figured he’d better walk that one back.
Respectfully, this apology is hard to take seriously, considering the detail and vitriol contained in his attack.
Gun safety is the safe handling and firing of a firearm. The left is trying to use gun safety to trick people into supporting massive new gun control legislation.
RED FLASHING LIGHT:
We have a winner!
He soiled his undies when he started reading the comments. It got worse once the Idjit decided to defend his lack of position.
I found it quite funny.
The original article:
Gun safety debate is B.S. (NRA “worthy of firing squad,” Palin “half-wit half-term quitter”)

Ugg. Can you imagine paying for your kids to so-called “larn somethin’” from this guy? Yuck.
In light of some of the comments IRT the Charleston, WV article online, I think this a-hole realized quite clearly that if the balloon does go up, hell be a dinner for eight.
It sure did... did you notice how he stepped away from his threat after all those comments by those willing to take up his “offer?”
Or a little like Andre the Giant without the mutton chops.
DO YOU SEE THE LIGHT!?!
Lyin’ sos. Just read some of the back and forth with the readers after his column was printed. He’s a snot. No doubt.
Don’t forget this is West Virginia. Firearms are near and dear to the hearts of mountainers.
