Very few people have the capacity to handle 8 dogs of any type, much less 8 dogs with a high prey drive.
Murder is an appropriate charge here.

The druggies living next to my mother have two pit bulls... and no gate on the yard. Twice, those dogs have attacked people. Yet the owners have never been penalized.

I hear a lot of “it’s the owner” crap from pit lovers. That’s fine. If you are willing to do the time for your dog’s crime. I think if more of these pitbull maulings ended with the owner behind bars we would see fewer pit types being bred.

It reminds me of a movie where Gig Young was charged with murder. He was testifying. The judge says, “Be careful with your answers or I’ll find you in contempt of court!” Gig Young replied, “I am on trial for my life! What are you going to do? Take away my driver’s license?” ;-)
