Back in my early yoot days, I think I had his basketball card while he played for Milwaukee.

In my long-ago yoot, I saw him play in the old Cincinnati Gardens when he was with the Royals....

Was Bob Cousy there at that time?
To: ConservativeStatement
Was Bob Cousy there at that time? No, it was the year after Cousy left (he was only there 1 year as a player/coach, and the experiment failed miserably). Unfortunately, I never saw a game during that season - Cousy played sparingly, but I would have gotten to see the Big O as a Royal.
Robinson was originally a Royal, but the game I saw was during his second stint with the team. I was in the 6th grade and we attended the game on a class trip. The Royals actually edged the powerhouse Knicks that night - probably the highlight of the season.

My two biggest basket ball memories are having seen a Celtic's playoff game against the Fakers featuring Bird,The Chief,McHale and DJ.What a thing of beauty they were collectively.
