The Oklahoma County Sheriff's office posted this photo of the pooch, which has since gone around the web, with the description, “Scared, but this little pup survived.”

The rescuers did some more digging in the area and came upon the sad realization that this loyal "friend to the end" had been keeping watch over a body.

Many dogs have careless owners and are mistreated. Sad!!

It has taken me years to realize (see) the reality that denominations, church creeds and all the religions that have an enlightened leader, IE. Mormon's,, Catholic, Islam, Pentecostal, Charismatics, New Age, Science of mind, Christian Scientists, many, many splinters, Reformed Churches, Anglicans, Church of England. etc. etc.

We have strayed far and wide from the SCRIPTURES and commands of God.

Satan is deceptive and his domain is the earth. He has succeeded in scattering the believers seeking to know and be obedient to God.

O LORD have mercy on America, and all that diligently seek to serve Thee in Jesus name, we bow in gratitude and thanksgiving, humbly praising, and blessing our everlasting eternal LORD God in Heaven, amen. ,

They found the owner, from the article: Now, in a possible miraculous twist, it seems all of the Web attention might reconnect the dog with its owner.

Sheila Collins commented on the Facebook post, “Please don't adopt Susie Collins. She is my brother Curtis’ dog and he is alive and the only reason he is not well is that he is looking for Susie. Please help us find Susie and if you have her, please let us know.”

The sheriff's department replied, “Sheila we will definitely be in touch. We want to do everything possible to make sure this dog gets back to its family.”

Maybe a herding dog of some kind, but certainly not a purebred Aussie. The color markings and prick ears are not typical of a purebred Aussie. That breed is my passion, BTW.

What I was thinking when I wrote the post was how our religions have drifted from God’s Word.

Mostly because a strong leader comes forth and impresses many with his or her understanding or translation of the Scriptures.

Few actually read the Holy Bible on a regular basis.
