QUINCY, Mass. A Massachusetts woman is facing an assault charge for allegedly punching a restaurant worker for putting too many pickles on her steak and cheese sandwich, police said Monday.
Tina Drouin, 49, ordered the sub from Nathans Famous Hot Dogs in the Quincy Center subway/commuter rail station at about 2 p.m. Saturday, according to MBTA police. Drouin started loudly complaining, used a profanity, and made other derogatory comments about the ratio of certain ingredients as the worker prepared the sandwich, police said.
Finally, she demanded a refund. The worker refused.
Thats when Drouin allegedly punched the female worker in the face, and pushed over two large pickle jars, knocking the worker to the floor and shattering the jars, police said.

In my world, pickles are like cats and catsup.....absolutely no reason to even exist.
Who puts pickles on a steak and cheese? Don’t think I’ve ever heard of that..................or have I been living a sheltered life?
Just doin what her Dear Leader told her to do...
“They bring a pickle, you bring a fist”
I put pickles on fish sandwiches. Yummy!
If she ever goes to that particular restaurant again, she will be drinking piss as well. Don’t mess with the people who make your food.
pickles on a cheese steak??
get-a-rope
You have been living a sheltered life. And to answer your question, Dagwood Bumstead and myself.
She should have given her the refund...
Yep. There are certain things that no civilized society should permit.
I’d have seen just how much she ate of it before I did that. If it was more than one or two bites, no.
I like pickles on a hot pastrami sandwich.
I’m not much of a pickle person anyway, don’t think I’d beat somebody down over it though, dadgum. lol
Reminds me of that scene in Mommy dearist....................”NO WIRE HANGARS, EVER!”.
Me neither, I would have just taken them out. But when i make a sandwich, I am like Dagwood. I put everything I can get on it.
When the police arrived, she found herself in a pickle.
but do you resort to fisticuffs???
I happen to like ketchup, but catsup?
a good pickle on occasion is welcome.
and cats are not my cup of tea. but for some reason I have had one now for 3+ years, and I have an understanding with this one...Generally though I am NOT a cat person....and neither are my dogs(who also have worked out the same understanding)
Is there a picture of the perp anywhere? I’m not too good with searches.
