Isn’t “parent 1”, “parent 2”, discriminatory? I mean, come one, ‘1’, ‘2’? Everyone knows 1 as in ‘first’ is superior to 2. This is orderism! This will not stand. The form should read ‘parent’ and for the other ‘parent’... and what about 3, 4, or N parent households. This form is a travesty of modern thinking.

I guess I don't have a problem with this. When calculating financials it just makes sense to list the players by level of contribution. For example, my wife makes a LOT more money than I do, but invariably when it comes to financial forms (tax statement, real estate stuff, car titles, etc.), I'm listed first, and it pretty much pisses her off.
