The NSA has been forced because of a FOIA request to release a 607 page PDF file, a guide/document on searching the web and various deep searches, as well as hacking guidelines.
I downloaded it and am reading it now.
All I can say is "VERY!!!! interesting!!!!!"

The other thought is that they didn't pay for anything and simply slapped a FOUO sticker on an electronic copy of an existing book.
There is nothing here particular to NSA. The little bit I was able to browse tonight indicate that it is a good general guide. The guide is also 6 years out of date.

Not sure I want to click on a NSA.gov link, much less open a file released by them.
No thanks.
Let us know if you find anything interesting since you’ve already got it on your box.
NSA probably classified it FOUO till they could discern if anything in it was really classified. Just because something is “open source” doesn’t mean it’s unclassified.
The fact that NSA released it without redacting anything says to me that they found nothing not known.
This doesn’t at all mean that what’s in here would not be interesting to web users everywhere :)
In USA, you don't click NSA link, NSA link click you.
cryptome.org had that linked too.
